  1. So i wonder. If you are not allowed to add a poster to a render, how does that work when your a photographer? If i would get a job to take photos of a house and in the childeren room there is a poster of a musicband, should you take it off to? For me this is a real gray area, i always avoid using stuff like this in my renders but if i compare it with taking photos i think it would be kind of weird if that is allowed and it's not allowed in a render.
  2. Check out this website. Maybe you allready know it but it got alot of brick textures including a alpha map. http://www.wienerberger.nl/gevel/texturen
  3. Cool man, thanks alot. You guys are great!
  4. For me it's always the original image posted in the thread, all the other images that are added under the post show up ok when i click them. I allready have this for maybe 1 year or something but for me it's not a problem. I just open it in a different way.
  5. I got the same problem. The way i solve it is by right clicking the image and open it in a new tab.
  6. Hi Steve, I'm not sure how accurate this is but why not use the sun object of c4d and add the vray light tag to that to make it a vray sun with physical sky. Now you can add the cordinates in the sun object and choice your hours of the day. I think this should work. Han
  7. use live selection and make sure only select visible objects is off. Then it's easy to go over it in a front view and select all the points of polys. I'm not sure if your letter is part of a object or a single object. If it's not part of a bigger object just press ctrl+a
  8. Nice looking images and designs. Just the texture of the chair got some stretching at the front, and agree with Tempest1295 that there should be some sort of edge or something between the front/top material and the side material.
  9. Hey Guys, I had some free time tonight so thought I have a try at fotosketcher for this image. I saw some cool results on the topic about this some time ago but so far didn't have time to test it. I most say I'm impressed with the software and I think you can get some great results from it, especially if you take some time and not only depend on the software itself. My test isn't the greatest and it's almost the pure result from fotosketcher, I only removed some light layers from my psd file and made the sky a bit darker blue plus added a line layer that I rendered using sketch and toon. I do believe that a layer like that adds alot to the image because without I myself don't think you can see the building good enough. Oh and also I added a raw render from cinema 4d to show the difference with the final image and maby easer to give some comments on that to improve my 3d part. Han
  10. Thanks Alot Andrew. Your right about the trees and the hedge, would be good for me to add the mulch. The street got a texture on it but maby not clear enough, maby I should add some displacement or some dirt. The light on the right I added in ps so easy for me to remove that, maby I added a bit to much. About the street lamps they should be there so can't remove them but how do you think I can improve them, your right that they not really seem to fit the rest of the image, looks a bit like I pasted a image on it but it's 3d. Once again thanks for the comments, will help me alot. Han
  11. Hi Ulrich, I think the model looks ok but you really need to work on the lighting and the vegetation. Try to use some warmer colors for the lights instead of white and not sure whats happening at the top of the building but the building seems to be glowing. The trees on the right are really dark compared to the grass and look to much like a flat image, that also counts for the 2 white trees on the left but these also seem to be not really matching the scene with the ligthing. I would also use 2 different persons in your image because now looks to be the same person, also not make him black and white, and lose the shades, a bit weird to have shades on when it's night. I hope you can use my comments to improve the image and hope to see a update from you. Han
  12. Oh thats weird, I thougt I allready posted a message to this Thread. Oh well I just write it again. Great and cool looking model with a very nice floormaterial. The choice for the red/orange versus blue lighting really fits the image and always seems to work very well. I agree with Buffalo Bills about the guy on the foreground, if he is a bit darker he would match better. Besides that it's a good looking image in my eyes. Han
  13. The model seams to look good but not sure about all the dimensions, especially the chairs compared to the bar. I think you need to put some work in your materials and lighting, everything looks a bit flat and dark. Also not sure about the size of the marble, looks a bit big but not sure on that one. The model got potential but just needs some more work. Hope to see a updated version of it in the future, I'm sure the other guys on the forum can help you a bit more with pointing out how to improve the image. Han
  14. I really love this image, I'm trying to find things I dislike or that could use improvement but having a hard time here. All the detail and especially the warm and soft light makes me really like this image. Great image and look forward to see more work of you.
  15. Hi Lukasz, Really nice looking image, model looks great and everything seem to fit very nice especialy cars and trees match very good. Just think some of the people could use some adjustment to fit better with the lighting and I would lose the mini, somehow doesn't look that real as the other car models. Everything else looks really great. Han
