  1. I agree no automated way quickest would be take the 2d drawing into Sketchup
  2. Try the tutorials that will come with whatever software you are using Max, Maya etc I have always found that a good place to start.
  3. Very good and professional web site with some excellent samples of your work But do you have any animation to add?
  4. Hi Zazz Have a look at this tutorial http://www.escalight.com/tutorials/3dsmax-tutorials/tire-tread-marks-animation-using-particle-flow.html Regards
  5. Have a look at this it may help http://www.cgrats.com/leaves-blowing-in-the-wind-3ds-max.html

  11. Hi Jonny Very nice house looks a litle washed out for me abd the biped does not enhance. It also looks like it is just a facade (No Back) when you look through the openings. More work like this will strengthen your portfolio Regards BobM
  12. I agree with the previous selection and if you are a student on a course then you can get all the Autodesk software free each year you are only 6mths for 3ds Max. http://stuents.autodesk.com Sketchup is also frree for your own use. Bonzi3D is worth a look it is Sketchup on steriods but only free for a trial
  13. Try selcting the path first then get shape. I have just tried it with imported path then shape and it works OK Hope this helps
  14. If it is not working with the change properties button or match properties, try right clicking in 2006 (I am not sure if that works in 2004) I find it strange that it is not working in 2 versions both of which are now not supported my only other suggestion is to re-install them Sorry not to have been more help
  15. I agree with you one of my most used commands and would be very helpful in 3ds Max
