  1. One post-processing trick I've been using a lot recently that might help you is to save out to 32-bit HDR format, then lower bit depth in Photoshop to 16-bit and choose the 'Highlight Compression' option. After that you can use levels or curves adjustments to bring back contrast in your image. This also works well for bringing some colour back into blown out interior lights.
  2. You can't see the tile grid and the texture at the same time, that's just how it works. The viewport only shows one map from the material at a time.
  3. This is an old issue, see this post on how to tackle it: https://www.punch.digital/remove-notetracks-from-3ds-max-scenes
  4. If you want the faces of the glass to illuminate then the material will need to have some diffuse colour (i.e. not black)
  5. If you haven't managed to access yet, here is a screenshot of the list. If you are not planning to overclock you could also save some by not buying the aftermarket cooler as the Ryzen comes with one. Although the Dark Rock Pro is a very nice bit of kit
  6. Once you have the panorama you can apply it as a material to a sphere object surrounding your scene (tip: flip normals and turn off backfaces)
  7. The cheaper option might be to use a PCIe card for the M.2 drive.
  8. Not something I have direct experience with I'm afraid. Did you set up any null objects in AE that correspond to points in the model?
  9. You would want to capture it from the centre of the site of the proposed building.
  10. Hi Matthew. No need to find keyed footage, just get a sequence that has fire on a black background. (YouTube has plenty). Create a jpg sequence from this and load into a Vray Light Material. Then you just need to copy the footage from the colour slot to the opacity slot to create the transparency.
  11. Looks good to me Sean! Nice balance of lighting between the interior and the atrium space outside. The only thing catching my eye is the faceting on back of the wooden chairs.
  12. Noctua has a few coolrs custom designed for the Threadripper: https://noctua.at/en/noctua-presents-cpu-coolers-for-amd-s-ryzen-threadripper-x399-and-epyc-platforms
  13. On a curved building with faceted (i.e. straight) glazing sections you should be able to achieve this effect quite easily, since each panel is at a slightly different angle. Just make sure to clear your smoothing groups.
  14. Try lowering the cutoff value under options to 0.001
  15. Try using an object to act as cushion pushing the fabric down into the seat?
