Imo: use some map for reflection. For example get those diffuse texture, make them greyscale(desaturate) blend with bumping map, make a bit darker and put to reflect map in your material slot and set the refl. glossines to 0,85 and you could also try to check fresnel for reflection, and a little less bump. And play a little with Vray2sidedMtl for translucuency - courtains and lamp.
