Hey, you have two simples solutions, 1-Export Dwg directly in max after installing Real Dwg 2007, using ( derive Autocad Primitive/entity) as every part in dwg as single object! and you will not have any problem with any faces. 2-Traditinal way exporting part of object or all object, it depend of complessity of object as .3ds format but using Isolines low( ab 25) and facetres 10. I have this problem: I made model of street S Shape in two programs ( Autocad & 3d studio max). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to apply my maps (street-2.jpg+street2b.jpg) on Street model. When am using the model which i did directly in max I dont have any Problem with map because the map follows the shape of my street ( S-shape) and it is looks very good.( Foto-2) But When am using the autocad model of street exported in 3Dmax using ( import function in max with Generate Coordinate parameter) or ( Export As .3ds in Autocad) I have problem to apply the map and let it fits the shape of street ( Foto-1). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- which i need is to apply the maps on The Autocad Model to Looks in the same way on 3dmax model in 3Dstudio max !!! Any Idea Welcome!!!! I attached Every File You need!! Regards

Hello, yesterday i was making small test on vray light and vray mtl- material - to understand better reflections and light. i was shocked when i did my first render my vraylight was +[invisible]+ in its settings, but in my mirror was visible ( mirror material is simple vray-mtl with white color in reflect slot and black color in diffuse), any help or advise - my files is attached- i used 3dstudio max 8, + Vray 1.5 RC3.
