  1. In your glass material you can activate the "affect alpha" option in the refraction parameters, that will give you an alpha image with transparency in the glass area. Hope that helps.
  2. Like "arod" in Alex Rodriguez...it took me a while to figure that out while seen a yankees game this weekend. About the image, i think it loos good, the chairs do not loot that bad is just that there are too many and look the same, maybe some more random can make them look better, a little rotation, some deforms, etc, etc.. but over all, nice work.
  3. Yes, the door was something i was discussing with the client, from this angle it looks like the sofa will be in the midle when the door is open, but it has the right position for it. I tried another angle (like the time was enough) but the client didn´t like it. Not enough time to try more angles so this one was the final.
  4. Studio/Institution: Freelance Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3ds Max 2010, Vray 1.5, Photoshop Description: Here is a quick project i did a couple of days a go. I have less than 15 hrs to finish this. At the end the client was happy and so was i. Any comments and critics are welcome.
  5. Hi jeff, i can´t create a new thread, i pick a file from the navigate option. I also have uploaded the images in "my" gallery and also attached two images there, but when i click in the submittion button i get an erro saying that there was no uploaded file. I tried in 2 different muchines with the same result, what i´m doing wrong ?? Thanks for any help.
  6. This, this is the real truth about every company i have worked for, no matter how good they treat the employer, i even sometimes think the special treat is given so you can´t deny the extra hours. All in all having a nice environment can make those none paid extra hours more acceptable.
  7. have anyone tryed this on a 64bits system ?? let´s say 2010 64 ?? thanks.
  8. they look good, i think the second one could use more constrast in the shadows. Your logo screams for a lot of attention though.
  9. ok, i see, as i said i think they were very weird shots for "classic" catalogue, but if they are looking some fresh style i undesrtand it, at the end the work you did speaks for it self
  10. i like this shots more than PART B. Awesome work man, congrats !!
  11. the lighting and shading is very nice, i love the flares too, but if this is for a furniture catalogue why they are not "selling" the furniture in the shots ?? except for no.4 where i think the lamp is out of proportion even for a real design, the rest look more like artistic shots than a furniture catalogue, but if this is a client request, i think is a little bit weird. Anyway as i said the work in general is very good, i really like them.
  12. Thank you Bradley, that´s the one i was talking about.
  13. yep, is not free, i just visited the website. anyone that can help ??
  14. Hi guys, I used to have a displacement texture to make some effect like this one: http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/hospitalera/hospitalera0808/hospitalera080800157/3386925.jpg i can´t find the texture anymore and i don´t have the time right now to make one, i´m in in very tight deadline, so please please, if someone have something like this map it would be awesome. Thanks.
