  1. Hi, Thanks for those , they are well made. As for Arch-Viz HDRI types, well yes as Andres mentioned for Arch-Viz it is mostly need horizon with unobstructed (trees, buildings, benches, cars..) view to the sky so it's usually some clear field or so best option, that way we don't need to "hide" any objects by lowering horizon in renders. For instance, this one of yours (https://ihdri.com/interactive/Lookout-Point-Enderndorf-Interactive/index.html) would be great if there is no that wooden bench in front view which is too close/obstructs the view.
  2. Shoudl be OK, not seeing any obvious problems, you just might check is memory on compatibility list with your choosed motherboard.
  3. Hi Agian, Here is how it looks with JUST normal compared to normal+displacement (Bottom one had displacements OFF). Something is weird yes, I can invert it and try to increase power and i get slightly different results but it's visible that it's just "fake" and no displacement. But for distant shoots it might be enough just to use normal :). cheers
  4. Hi Miguel, Here is it how it looks/works in Octane render engine. It "kinda" works but for proper results you need to post hi-quality height/normala maps 'coz JPG are lossy compressed format and don't have enough definition for displacement (has to be uncompressed PNG/TGA/Tiff and even 16-32bit version for more fidelity to get clean not stepped displacements). cheers
  5. Definitely turn ON ceiling down-lighter lights and maybe even that big bulb.
  6. Hi, For most projects i do 1280*720 draft renders (although not clay but full scene colors) and with lower quality i.e. less samples than what final render would be so it renders quicker. Sometime if scene is quick (exteriors are usually much quicker than interiors) then i do FullHD drafts but also reduced number of samples (PathTracing). For final i do 2-3x more samples than for drafts and 2560*1440 or 4K renders, depending of clients need. If is for print then usually 4K but if is for web/mails/phones (as they usually do it that way) then eeve 2.5K is enough or too much in some cases when they look it on phones and tablets :). cheers
  7. Good to see you have noticeable difference but that is partly due much better CPU than in laptop too and laptop GPUs are usually lower powered chips i..e slower than "real ones" for desktop. As for hardware in Croatia yeah i know the prices, I live there too, i got my Dual Xeons from USA 'coz they were way to expensive locally
  8. Hi Tin, Sorry that I'm late to the party but i wonder did you combined that workstation and how did setup ended after-all. If you still didn't then don't worry 1070 Ti will work same as 1080 in 3DSMax GUI, especially 'coz both have same amount of VRAM (8GB). Currently I have 4 GPUs in my workstation and when i switched from Titan X (M) to newest RTX 2080Ti i didn't notice any speedup in 3DSMAX viewport. I use them for GPU rendering so that is where 2080Ti is now 2.5x faster than my old Titan X but in viewport no difference noticeable by eye. cheers
  9. Yes, you'll probably need to build by yourself or hire someone for custom modeling job up to your specs.
  10. Hi ! Is there any ETA on 1.7 FINAL ?
  11. Really good news from Mr. Worley .
  12. Really great "transformation" . You choosed better furniture this time but it'll be more expensive too so watch your wallet . If this is my house I'd "hide" those metal/wood beams at celling with panels or something, they stick too much for my taste. Either way it's great render
  13. Yes it looks very nice. I'd also sugges to make glass little darker when you make it more refelctive as d.sign suggested. cheers
  14. Very nice models for parking lots infront of buildings . You've did nice job but it could be more nicer if you just used bandsaw tool on edges to get more sharper corners/edges. But I'm a car freak so don't mind me posting that . Still it's a very good work .
  15. Hi ! I LIKE it very very much and i wouldn't critique anything . Only thing what i would like to know is why floor tiles are sooo big ? Is that concrete tiles on floor or what ? cheers
