  1. yes the lights are a little bit "oversubscribed"--just for the mood, i know the lights are not 100% realistic. Buy the way i would also like to live there, but this is not possible in the center of a capital.
  2. Hello, A recent private work... http://sehorst.com/sehorst/image_gallery?fld=537&id=fernblick.jpg Let me know your thoughts! Best Regards from Vienna

  4. Hi Thank s for feedback ...i intended the oversaturated look here--to make it let s say creamy. @aly pro: find attached the water mat settings...it s nothing special... more important is which material you choose for the pool ground etc i think. i used this caustic generator....a great tool i think. http://www.dualheights.se/caustics/

  6. Generally you´re right, we love our jobs but we also sell our working time---and we have so sell our time for reasonable rates! Getting rich is not the point, but it should be possible to make a quite good living doing something specialized like arch viz. A reasonable daily rate is fundamental.....if you get paid like a secretary or cashier i would look for an other job----and do 3d in the freetime as a hobby. Let those customers go!--yes that s the way to go!--- If you have to lower your prices that you have the same hourly rate like " a normal office job" this customer is the wrong customer--and of course there are a lot of wrong customers- in any country-like in any other industry i guess.
  7. You´ re right, the client is wrong. The 3d model belongs to you- if the client wants the whole model he has to pay for that. I would charge about 50-75% of the whole flat sum (flat sum in this case I would just use the stills for pricing, not the whole animation project). So lets say the stills would be about 8k Euros- charge about 4k to xxx for the model (without textures)---depending on the client.... if the client is faithful you can find a deal----if not charge 100%-
