  1. Nice image. Although the first thing that comes to my mind is a "suicidal staircase"
  2. I have tried it and i think you have just saved my project. IT WORKS!!!! Exactly as i wanted it. Thank you very much. I am so happy. It was so simple to do it, but before, without knowing how to do it, emotions were soooooo different.
  3. Hi Jana. Many thanks for your reply. I will definately have a go at the procedure you described and i will post back my results. Thanks again.
  4. Simply because i am not good at modelling in Max. But if you know how its done in Max and you can at least point me in that direction i would be very grateful to you. many thanks for your response.
  5. Hi all. I am pretty sure people have done this before but i don't know how to smooth out a terrain shape which I created in archiecture (autodesk) and then imported into max. Is there something specific that needs to be done in architecture prior to importing it into max? Then what is the procedure to smooth it in max. I tried by converting it to mesh and then apply smooth modifier with no result, same with Turbo smooth modifier. Any ideas very welcome. PS if you want me i can attach both the dwg file and the max file with the imported shape.

  7. Great work! but i wouldn't like to be forced to perform a U-turn there!!!!
  8. Studio/Institution: www.3dgs.com Genre: Office Interior Software: Max, Vray Description: Hi All. This is one of my latest interior scenes. Comments and critiques are welcome.
  9. I would only comment on two things: the decking material needs more life and the ivy i would prefer it a touch more dark. One more thing the sky looks very dramatic. But apart from that great work.
  10. I would try this: while the file is open click :file-new-keep objects and save the new file. try to render it. I cant promise anything just an idea.
  11. Excellent info. Although i usually use the file-new-keep object etc, the other options look very promising. Have you tried the other options? On what max version? When the state a certain max version do they imply that newer versions are incompatible with the script? Sorry if i am hassling you. I am only asking because it seems that you have done your "homework".
  12. Hi There. Not bad at all. It is a bit noisy (grainy) but you need to experiment with AO settings to get a better result with the expense of rendering time. Also try http://www.vray-materials.de/ for leather material.
  13. Very Nice. Except few issues, its difficult to tell that is not a photo. Well done
  14. Hi Thanasis. Very realistic as always. I like the DOF. Was it done in PS or in Max?
