    Hi guys after recent crisis I decide to stop my architecture activity and move definitely to a Render Studio First I want to show you my architectural site so you can see my way of render http://www.narcar.it I work with autocad - Lightwave - kray and Felix render Now I need to renew all My license and I am thinking to switch to something else Maybe Luxology Modo I am just interested in arch renders and , for sure animation Please Help me to move into this nice work. best regards Carlo

    Good news coming your way. I can't post this public but here's the news LW's new obj exporter is great for use with 3ds 2009. It converts all texture maps to UV & with MAX's new obj importer they come over quite well. The only thing you need do once into Max is set the smoothing & tweek the textures.

    Thankfully this means you can model in LW & render in VRAY Max!

    Oh also the object come over without being trippled. :0)

    I m using mac notebook i d like to use it doing architectural model for architecutral project I m proficient with maya 8.5 and lightvawe as cad i m using high design the question is? Does someone use the same software hardware configuration?

    I'm a 30 years old architect I have to begin a cg school for this summer, I'm just interested on Architectural and design Rendering i have this choices a one week cours on Maya an Maxwell render very intensive on a very good school (a sort of gnomon on italian ground) a 2 weeks on just modelling and rendering on 3dmax (in the south of italy i think a less experienced school respect the first one) the problem is I cannot attend them durin normal years day, just on summer the other think is i'm a very good user of lightwave+fprim+kray but i feel a little bit out of the mainstream with this program let me know your ideas and experiences...

    I'm going to buy a new notebook I tried asus u5f really erally smaller and funny but my 3d program view is too little I'm just sure about the laber ASUS for the rest if you have an experience on a notebook to do cg on it please share it to me see ya soon you are very welcome
