how long did this take to set up? where did you originally model everything?

I'm having an issue when I send my animation to our internal farm the file saves with the incorrect gamma. is there a specific setting I need to use when saving the jpeg file? I've tried to override the gamma to 1.0, but this doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm new to backburner. I was wondering if there is a way to submit one animation to backburner and have backburner distribute each frame to multiple nodes. What we are finding is that one computer in the office is very fast- finished and sat there for several hours. While others lagged behind.

thanks Jan for your feedback...I tried using the script int he pre-render group but this only works for the first frame of the animation...could you give me more information on the callback or a tutorial that might help me understand what you're talking about... i'm unfamiliar with max scripting thanks

I'm trying to render an sun study animation with a script I downloaded. In the viewport the text automatically updates the date and time, but when rendering this text does not update with each frame that is rendered... any ideas? deleting my windows user profile and creating new one worked

this didn't work for me... I'm going to try reinstalling my windows user profile...I'll let you know how it goes. thanks for your feedback

cntrl x works temporarily but it goes back to a blank

reloading the cui did not work. what I did find is that when I sign in as a different user this does not occur...any more suggestions? Thanks

I've been having this issue with my max interface. We've tried reinstalling the whole program and switching the driver from directx 9 to 10, but none of this is working. See attached image Any ideas?

sorry if this is a stupid question... how do I know if I have the maxtreme driver installed?

what programs are you using? and where should I notice differences i.e. viewport display performance?

I'm in the process of testing a quadro fx 4800 and I was looking to see where I should be looking for performance increases. We currently are on ati firegl v5600's. Other than the OpenCL/ GPU rendering capability, are there other things that I should be looking for? Also, is there a specific way I need to configure it for 3ds max to take advantage of it's abilities?

when is the official release of iray? there are some posts that say its been released...it shows it on the subscription description,but isn't available in the list of downloads.

what is the link for the subscription update?
