mi goal is to build PC which I can use for modeling and rendering in MAX/vray set-up. I want to build something under my table - pc.
This is my build I created after some research. My budget is 1100 euro [i don't want to but I can go to1500 if its worth it]
processor: Intel Core i7-3770K
MOBO: MSI Z77A-G43
GPU: MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC
RAM: 16GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL10 Vengeance [2x8gb]
disc : Western Digital Caviar Green 2000GB 64MB cache s Advanced Format
power supply: OCZ ZS Series 550W
case: Eurocase MiddleTower 5301 black
This is it. I wan to ask what do you think about this build. Is there better processor in this price range? I was thinking about 6-core Intel Core i7-3930K, but it is too expensive. Is it worth the money it to buy 6-core processor? I have experience with only dualcores and I was able to do all my things. But something is telling me that more is better.
About the graphics card. I chose nvidia because all my life I had ati radeos and i wasn t satisfied. On the other hand I want to try something new and I read lot of good thing on this cards. I do not render RT with my current card but I will play with it with this one. I was also thinking about GTX560Ti [i could safe 100 euros] but I chose this one instead.
please let me know your opinion. This is my first serious build/workstation so I want to spend my money good way.
