  1. Studio/Institution: Advanced 3d Modelling Genre: Commercial Interior Software: 3ds Max, Vray Website: http://www.advanced3d.com.au Description: Hi All This scene wasn't for a client but just something we put together in some downtime that we had. All comments/criticism appreciated.
  2. Might I suggest that you open Photoshop and create one yourself. Displacement maps work best I think if they have been custom created to suit a particular diffuse map. I would open your tile texture in Photoshop then create a new grayscale image over the top, obviously painting the image white on the parts of the tile that you would like to see raised and vice versa.
  3. You could try changing your Colour Mapping settings from 'Linear Multiply' to 'Exponential'.
  4. I had this problem yesterday... continued until I had deleted all instances of Vray Fur from my scene.
  5. Hi chaps I had this same problem just the other day although I was saving my baked textures as jpgs. The reason I they seemed to be black was that only a small, cropped portion of the rendered image was being saved. I changed it to save files as .bmp and it started working. Hope this helps.
