  2. Hello postite, I have mensura at my disposal but am not expierenced, could you explain step by step how you converted the model from max to mensura so I can get this quickly done?
  3. Well done, I am curiuous too, greetings
  4. Bonjour postite, I should have explained it better. I want to add a turbosmooth or a simple smooth modifier with it, for that you need welding, and for welding you need to have an uniform face orientation. greetings from belgium
  5. I tried that all before, if you have the time, here is a sample from the terrain, with xview you can highlight the disoriented faces, good luck http://rapidshare.com/#!download|706tl4|431374730|face_orientation.max|2224 (2011)
  6. I have imported a model from autocad that is difficult to cleanup, see the screenshot attached, I have double faces and flipped normals. With xview i can highlight what needs to be flipped with face orientation, but I can't transfer the highlighted faces to a sub selection.
  7. Is it still needed to import with legacy instead of standard dwg with 3ds max 2011?
  8. which passes does psd manager use to create the final image? is the result 100 percent frame buffer?
  9. What is the best format to import rhino curves into max? Dwg, Dxf, etc etc
  10. what is your email Jonas, I have some questions for you, can you pm me? Groetjes.... :)

  11. Turbosmooth is newer (though now again old) technology, so you should use turbosmooth. Good to know is that not all options from meshsmooth are included in turbosmooth, so in real rare cases you should use meshsmooth. Nurms don't use that, it is not handy.
