  1. kris98, You may have either, lost the source file for the window object, corrupted it, or lost the library that contains it. For example, if it is a window object you created, then you may need to reopen it and check that all calls, references and such are still valid. If the window came from a special or 3rd party library you may have to go to the Library Manager and relocate or reload that library. If it is not the above, the AC library might be corrupted, you will have to reinstall the library. I had to do this once, I don't remember the procedure, but I could look it up if this might be of help. Best of luck, Snapcrackle
  2. Tom, Before you ditch the LW approach, get your hands on the Pro.Render DVD. And yes, out of the box AC implementation of LW is cartoon like. Real control comes with mastery of: a) material and b) lighting. Understanding the 60+ parameters for a material will alter your perception of a LW render. The DVD will, among many basic lessons, also teach how to combine effects. For example, I have created a wood floor with the slightly wavy reflections of a real wood floor by creating a very thin mostly transparent slab with the reflective qualities of water. The light bouncing of the wood slab + plus water slab looks perfect, distorting the reflection of the walls and furniture. You can't tell that it is an "effect". Cheers, Snapcrackle
  3. Hi Tom, Pro Render is produced the Australian Graphisoft people. You can find it on their website: I am not allowed to post a web address on this forum but if you combine the word archicadtutorials preceded by 3w's and dot com dot au after, you'll get there. I am not aware of any other location to purchase it. By the way it is for version 9/10, but the LightWorks engine has not changed since then. Of course in AC12 the Archicad interface has changed so commands will be in different menu trees, etc. I love this DVD, I bought it over a year ago, and I still review it, not only does it show you how to use Lightworks, but also shows wonderful shortcuts in AC while they are at it. All the best, Snapcrackle
