  2. hi to all, some time without posting....my latest pic thanks!
  3. thanks, and happy 2010 to all my friends form cga....
  4. a good welsh singer calling Cerys Matthews, she has great new album calling dont look down...
  5. what in the world is going on?

  6. i agree, the sun is too strong to see those white flares on the spotlights, and the floor looks a little bit out of scale (small)... the overall picture looks too beauty, the viewpoint is a really good choose, and the flat looks like a nice place to live....
  7. i post another test work to see how the dirt material looks...
  8. the wood on the second one looks great...i love that pic..
  9. great as always revertex, love this old mercedes benz car... nice touch.. i didn't see you in mundos.. i was there, i cant believe you been here and we can't take a drink together...
  10. agree, great album by a great band...
  11. but if you really reduce the bump amount (sometimes lower than 1) it works fine... also you can work with noise colours and size, if you put grey colours this will reduce the bump amount... another way is to rotate the different pieces of glass a little bit (really a little) to make the refection of an objetc moves from one glass the other.. (on glass walls)
  12. possible solutions: if you have a lot of proxies and displacement, try to increase your dinamic memmory limit on vray system panel...(400 mb default), put 1200 or something like this... if you have some proxies, try to put the original meshes, will take more ram, but the calcualtions will be faster...use the proxies only to save ram.. take in account that not allways is possible to use all the ram, sometimes the rendering times are depending on other calculations, like subdivisions, light quaility, noise etc.....more ram memmory not allways made this calcualtions faster,.. wich processor you have?, how is the scene?, how much lights... if you put the vray settings i can help you, but in this way looks like a lottery..
  13. agree.. using tiles map, and mix 2 of this with different colours... but you will have a totaly random mix, this one you show us, looks like diferent areas with colours... why not to try to make a big photoshop texture with this, sonds easy to handle.. or the last one is to modelling this and use multisub objetc with diferent colours.. all depends on the detail you need and how closer will be visible...
  14. maybe a mapping problem.... if not, maybe a mesh problem, smooth or soemthing like this, can you post a wire?
