  1. Hi & sorry for the late responce, I'm really happy for this conversation because it gives me ideas to improve my webspace. Ralf: thank you for the usefull information, i am an architect but i am interested in design in general, i wouldnt say that my job is so close cgarchitect, i admire though lot of works that i see here and i'd really like to achieve this level on cg but for the time i need lot of practice. Do you really think that Berlin is so not interactive? i'd say the opposite but anyway your experiment would have fun ;-) Greetings from Berlin (Isnt it strange that the north people moving south and the south people north?) Luke: I'd really say that you have seen my website in a unique way, which sounds (to me) beyond my expectations and, to be honest, my skills. Anyway i am very curious to hear more about this if you want and you have time to tell. In general i understand the "user friendly" problems and i'm "thinking" right now the changes that need to be done. The problem you recognized of limited prasantantion exist and its in contrast with the concept of the moving site that allows any type of picture or video to be used. That's only because all presentation material cames from the first version of the site which was more "static" and i didnt have the time to make the adjustments. Thnx again!!! Have fun
  2. Hello again! Thanks for you comments, i found them more than usefull, i'm working allready on some changes in order to make it more user friendly. I'd like nevertheless to add some more information about the website. First of all, i wanted to say that the purpose of the site is more showing, rather than advertising my work, I dont aim on possible clients at the moment. My intention is to make people interact and some of them find something that could interests them. For me this site was a project developed on the previous idea. I'm waiting more comments, also from this point of view Thank you all & Have Fun ;-)
  3. Hallo! No its not your fault you should be able to move the hole, images and text with the move button if that's not possible then its my fault.
  4. Hallo everybody, the past weeks i was working on my personal website, I've heard some opoinions from my friends about the interface and i'd like some more comments in order to improve it. http://www.yannisefstathiou.com In general i'm an architect with interests in graphic design, design and 3d visualization. Have Fun any C&C wellcome. Thanks
  5. Hello David, i think you have done some great job with the modeling (which is a chore for me). Personally i'd change some textures (grass, plants, road, pavement, backround) the glass looks like a miror and the Wall(not the brick) out of scale. I also don't like the garden lights, but that's just me. The right side of the garden i think it's too empty and ends sharply. The colour mapping might be another problem of the image but i'm not sure. In general i think it looks good although i don't like this kind of architecture. I hope that helps! Keep on the good work.
  6. Hello i think you've done good job in modeling. i agree with the others i think they are dark in a strange way. Did you increase the bright multiplier in color mapping? if you did it's not the solution to your brightness problem. You need more light in your scene. I hope i helped. (excuse my English)
  7. ravi_chawda1981 I had also this concern about the ground, now it's confirmed. I'll do my best. danb4026 Ηοnestly speaking i totally forgot the correction, but i also like this strange perspective i think it makes the building notable. Nevertheless i'll give it a shot I'll try to make the ground bette, i'll use the correction and i'll post again. (excuse my English)
  8. Hello there! I've done a 3d in order to improve my skills in max. The model is a copy of a pavilion at Kivic art center. I'd like some c&c i'm new here. Thanks!!
  9. Hello to everyone! i'm new in the forum and i'd like to ask for help. I'm posting a 3d that i tried to make out of photos it is a famous building of David Chipperfield architect. I didn't have any drawing and i want to improve it. You can find the building as "Kivik art center pavilion 2008". Thanks a lot for your time.
  10. Hello again! A big thanks to all for your help! I'll try to make the changes but as i said the client was more than happy with those images, right now there are some other jobs to do. I'll do some more reading on lighting and exposure and i'll post some other pojects. Hope to help and comment me again on those. That's all for now! An honest THANKS to all!!!
  11. a big Thanks to all for your help! the time was pressing me and i tried to do my best. i attach my final images (the client couldn't wait anymore), i keep playing with exposure, by the way i found exposure control at enviroment window, is that something i should be involved with? I really apriciate the time you spend on my post and i'd be very happy to comment again my final images.(i think i must improve the water on the pool any suggestions?) My friend "caicedor" the grass is a vray displacement on 2d mapping and an amount of 0,25 (i work with meters on units setup). the texture that i use is a simple grass texture. If u still have any questions search on the forum for vray displacement grass or send me a private massage with ur email to feed u back.
  12. I'm using max camera. I've tried in the past Vray Phys cam but then i hardly knew anything about GI ect. I'll give a try again but i want to ask a couple of things: Should i use vray's cam as if it was a real DSLR? Is Vray cam going to have a bad influence on my render time? Thanx for your interest! I'm waiting for a reply.
  13. You are right my friend i have no idea about exposure in max. I recently watched a tutorial for colour mapping. Is that what you mean?
  14. Hello!! This is my first post here. I'm new at the forum and i'd like to say that it does really great job. That's why i decided to ask for your help.
