Hiya all, My 12 years old home computer were about to die later due out of date hardware :-). So I decide will go ahead build my own PC again soon. So my budget roughly around £1000 or less and I used be work on 3DS Max with V-Ray, CAD, Photoshop and maybe a little bit gamer. I've been search around website for new mid-range hardware. Seem a lot changing new hardware at the moment. I can't decide which way go for new AMD or stay in Intel CPU. Can you tell me which's best one recommend me. I'm thinking take any Asus motherboard go with either Intel i7 Core 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7. I'll make my full list of PC hardware later. Regards Chris

Hiya all, I've done make 360 QuickTime VR format and Equirectangular 3D image. Client wanted to see that 360 panorama on thier ipad. I understand there no flash support on ipad. How I can use upload those 3D image or converter into ipad deivce that can 360 viewer? Is there any free tool app or open source download.

Does it mean include Vray 1.5 & 2.0 plug in may won't work on 3Ds max 2013?

No help !! I did figure it out last weekend:- Here what i do - Set red keys button on any timeline track (bottom bar) where you want to view poisition. Then hold shift button & click hold key tab copy to other timeline track frame say add other 5 sec. That make camera view hold still then move motion animation after 5 sec. But it would give me increase addition render time becasue number of same frame add on for still view. I wonder is there any best free video editior software that can pick one single frame copy & Paste on expand timeline for still view and animation?

Hi all, Im trying get practice some simple model testing before go real 3D model which i have not used play it for long time ago. So I know how to set up camera animation follow on spline path, no problem. But I would like to know how to work control on camera play follow path then at some view point or half way path for pause still animation few mins then start up moving along line? Other question - what best pixel size render that could be for projection purposes from pc laptop at a planning meeting. I thinking about 1680 by 1050 pixel size or little bit less that than.

I think i having problem with screen view jump. I try explan here what i do:- In 3D max 2010 Design When I put new VRayPhysicalCamera on position face toward 3D building model then change Field of View tool zoom in to see fit between Show Safe frame that i was happy with that view. Problem is that screen view:- later when I decide try move little bit rotate pan camera that Field of View sceen zoom jump back sqaure one . Im not sure it is issue Graphic card problem or not. I'm new to Vray 1.5 recently. EDIT:- I did try test change to standard Camera with Mental Ray. It was fine normal & nothing wrong with it. I guess only on VRayPhysicalCamera has problem. Any idea?

Try on Raytrace Acceleration tab > swtich BSP to BSP2 from Render Setting. It same happen to me before.

Yeah, I have seen google search about convert into colour using by brush photoshop. I sort of dislike way a look for example pink face look horrible. But I dont know what real lfe colour life like exisit in photo. Ive thought something like black white colour split into Red, Blue, Green filter then overlay merge into colour like magic colour automatic come up. I know it wont be easy or not impossible. I agree you about should leave black white photo alone in history. I just fun play up bring into alive one. Hi SandmanNinja, Yeah similar to I have seen on TV that black while film world war II into colour. It crazy by hand brush photo.

This is off topic for me really. Maybe I felt silly ask question. Recently I just found interesting very old photo black & white photo image of old building in 1923. I have scan this into my computer. can it convert into colour image? Is that possible using photoshop ? If so, How ? I would interest try this for fun to see what true colour like. Perhap I was thinking try make 3D model out of 1923 photo for fun in my own time.

I think it effect reflect bouce from mirror with ies downlight. Yeah, Maybe you right about lower eye level a bit. Orginal 1.65m height becasue as I did measure myself from toe to my eye. I guess Im little bit taller. Ill try go for 1.55m eye level. Thank mate here light list I use:-(3D Max 9) try to speed up render time. From Sun - Mr Area Spot with RayTraced Shadow Exposed front of window use FArea Light with RayTraced Shaodw Rest of light bulb + Downlight use IES light. ( I try fix improve on that later) Enviroment Map - Mr Physical Sky with Logicmatic Meter Outside room, I use Dome with standard light. Soon I fix put image on background windows. Mostly texture use from Arch & Design and Architectural and some standard material. Here attrachment of render setting. Thank for point it out and I will try set it right next WIP.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I felt same side as you - I agree on XP64 was fanstic. I just want tell that all. Not agrue or debate or fight over this. I felt I've been spend my money on software and hardware for waste that wont compatibilty with XP64. Next time I had to carefully check product specs which compatibility suit with XP64. I just think I just find company manufactured maker were ignore this with never try driver update or fix bug like they think Window XP Pro 64 never exisiting here. Most software and hardware label saying :- Win 98, Window XP, Vista 32 & 64 etc But never say XP64 on it. Very rare on it. I wonder why. I know mine old printer Canon i650 - I love it and it about 7 years old until 64 wont work on it so I have been tried find on Canon website for udpate driver. They dont have one so I have been try email to Canon website for complain and try fix test update driver for printer. They reply me saying sorry can't wont work compatibility. That why I had to find buy right one carefully this year or this christmas. Other older printer can work with update driver. Aye, My favourite game on Splinter Cell. I know it old game. I was thinking aboutmaybe buy Crysis or Metal of Honor later this year.
