  6. The setting is in the material editor dailog box, under the drop down "options". "Propagate materials to instance" with it ticked will apply materials to all instances and with it unticked just applies to the object selected. Hope this helps Renato

  11. Saturn I have been on it for 6 months and have the odd little problem but nothing serious. It is well worth it! It is just a matter of time before dedicated 64bit software is released. cheers Renato
  12. The other thing you can do is to lock the Move, rotate and scale of the camera. This is in the command Panel under the "Hierachy" tab in the "link info" tab. Just tick the boxes there and you will not be able to do anything with the camera.
  13. Hi Vodka79 The glass windows in the background needs some reflections and the wood grain on the counter seems some what large otherwise it is a very good rendering. cheers Renato
  14. ShaunDon Autodesk showed a very early version on Max64 at the london user group meeting a two weeks ago. It is definately under development, be they would not say when. They were opening million poly file with ease.
  15. Another thing you must not forget is solitude of freelancing, sitting in front of your PC, sometimes for a weeks on end not speaking to anybody face to face just over the phone. If you are a very social person you will struggle. Also you need to get an accountant to sort out your financial stuff, more money you need. The other thing you must not forget is your electical bill which will more then double if you are rendering a lot. Cheers Renato
