I found my little problem..It was just that i didn't wait long enough before i try to save... When my render ends, now, i wait about 5 mon and it save just fine.. But i think i might try to upgrade some of my pc specs soon.. thanks anyway!

the thing i don't understand is that my image is rendering just fine, it's just when i try to save my picture...everything freeze.... i really hope somebody will be able to light me on that!! Thanks!

Hi guys! Me again! Thanks for the help yesterday! I'm having a problem right now.. My windows freezes as soon as i try to save a file that i just rendered (about 9000*7000pix) What can i do to help windows save my files? IM USING I7 920@2.67GHZ with 6gb of ram, 64bit operating sys Can i render as slices? How do i do that if it can help? Or disconnect internet? Please! any help would be awesome! My client is waiting for his rendering! Thanks alot for your help and your time!!

Hi Andrew..or anybody else!! Just a quick info to ask you, When i ask you about the differencde between the 2 graphic cards yesterday, my question wasn't right.. The 2 cards are as follow.. Geforce gtx 285 1024 mb and Radeon HD4870X2 ..2048mb Is the Radeon more powerful for Max 2010 since it's 2048 mb,or are they still kind of equivalent? Also, i read that the X2 is worthless in 3d Apps like Max So is the card worth the 100$ more even if it's 2048mb? Thanks again my friends, your help is really appreciated!

I think i'll go with the GEFORCE GTX 285 1024mb The softwares i'll use is max, vray 1.5. I will use some evermotion's library (mostly vegetation..) And probably try Vue.. So you think i'll be fine with that, along with my i7 920, 6 gig Ram? Thanks for your help, i'm really a newbie on hardware, and i really want to get a decent machine!

Ok , so should it be different for ext. and int. renderings? How can i check for my settings, i'm using lcd monitors. And then do i only change settings in max preferences? Or must i change also the color mapping/gamma in vray? It can get so confusing! Thanks guys!!
