  1. actually it is working in slate mode of material editor well
  2. nice images...great atmosphere and details, except that too much raw tree
  3. welcome, and my advice: choose one and stay with it
  4. Hello, floorplans from that link was done in http://away3D.com/features/ , but there are more possibilities: any kind of flash engine (or other 3D engine with specific plugin for browser, if it is not flash...sure, flash technology need also plugin, but it is kind of standard, I think . In this web are 3D accelerated experiments in Webgl, maybe standard in future (no plugin is needed, only chrome browser, in safari there is also possibility turn on support for webgl in preferences). http://www.chromeexperiments.com/webgl PS: other 3d engine with plugin http://unity3d.com/
  5. hello, I cant see your Lightcache settings but my quick dirty tip: try turn off Retrace threshold in Reconstruction parameters, or try turn off light cache for glossy rays. Or: do you have any different type than Vray material in scene ?
  6. agree, CC is too much buggy in max 2012...but you can replace it in Slate Material Editor with max ColorCorrection
  7. Happy New year to all ! (Šťastný nový rok všetkým) :-)
  8. i agree with nicnic - the video is not explaining power of shader, i think this image in your site explaining it much better - http://www.batzal.com/images/showcase/cars.jpg
  9. i think this is problem if you have too many faces per object. try to detach some part of biggest object like next one.
  10. or maybe through nurbs - check tutorials for nurbs inside max
  11. hello, and photoshop/filter/distort/lenscorrection ?
  12. hello acjwalker, images looks good and my 2 cents: first image: - camera is bit disturbing /not from person height/, maybe that is reason why people looks bigger now - window stores are empty : it is also eye catching (yes, also put little bit less bump value) - i like colors, lighting, materials - try 1-2 px motion blur in PS for people and 90% opacity second image: - maybe that left up tree is too much visible, move it little bit left ?
  13. i think also sketchup with plugin has this AR option for presentation
  14. did you check first link what i wrote? - http://forums.cgarchitect.com/39985-vr-ar.html - i named there few of posibilities, ( and also linceoVR is suitable for this) but maybe they build the solution from the ground /c++,python etc.....with opencv, artoolkit libraries or other image tracking solutions/
  15. http://forums.cgarchitect.com/39985-vr-ar.html or which exactly part of the presentation dont you understand? - I think they used beside marker tracking also something more sofisticated for images(materials) recognition (could be openCV libraries exactly )
