  1. Lots of scripts on scriptspot which will save you time. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/billboard-generator http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/billboard-manager http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/multi-assign-scripted-billboard-controller
  2. Having your backup script / program to exclude certain folders does help ease the file sizes. Example : _superseeded or _archive (in any folder) So anything in folders wouldn't be backed up. It does shave a lot of file management etc.. and gives the onus on artists to put older files in there.
  3. messed with it a little when it was mixamo fuse. Not a bad tool.. wouldnt be great for foreground stuff but good for say midground ppl or specific sports etc.. it used to come rigged for max as well.
  4. just do what it says, and put the link to your site. if you have a great site , yes (great as in website was designed professionally and usable plus view-able on mobile) .. but ive seen enough flash/turrible animation based crapsites in my time so automatically if that comes up, application goes into the bin. normally I would skim through a pdf quickly .. if its good, we would review it later and view more.
  5. wow.. i remember when that was the bomb in 2003/2002 ? .. and that phrase was cool then too..
  6. Are you inheriting old scripts or custom setups? that can happen..
  7. if you rather have it as a script : http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/random-wire-color-tools
  8. http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ not a microstation expert here. however, if its a simple form, export it out and use this. its an old classic but does the job well for folding stuff
  9. imagine getting an ankle sprain from 3ds max.. now thats an interesting thing to explain to the doctor
