  1. Hi, Try wire color on render elements. It used to works for me.
  2. Hi, I know Texas A&M has master program for visualization in Architecture. But most of graduate end up with movie industry. Just take a look. http://viz.arch.tamu.edu/graduate/ms-viz-curriculum/
  3. How about a little hint of reflection on the glazing?
  4. Check your Rendered Frame Window. You might accidentally check "Selected" on "Area to Render" drop down menu.

  6. Check contemporist. http://www.contemporist.com/category/architecture/
  7. Nice rendering. I'd like to see more sky. Frame looks a bit too tight.
  8. Adrien, No way in SketchUp. If you want to export model to MAX, it's possible. Under 3DS Export Options, you can tick "Use Color By Layers materials" Hope it works for you.
  9. Dimitris, I'm heavily rely on post-editing in photoshop with render mask/render elements (reflectance, refraction, wirecolor, material ID...). Is it possible to get those render elements in Vray for SketchUp?
  10. Check link below. http://area.autodesk.com/forum/autodesk-3ds-max/autodesk-3ds-max--3ds-max-design-2009/cant-move-rotate-or-transform-an-object-what-do-i-have-to-do-to-solve-this-problem/
  11. I don't know what's happening with your Multi/Sub-object materials. However, If you just need to select cerain objects/area, you can also render elements like VrayWireColor, VrayRenderID, and ObjectID. Hope it works for you.
  12. Hi James, Floor looks too glossy to me, and review UVW map for wall tile. Move grout lines down to floor or move up to show as a baseboard dimension (~100 mm). How about put blurry exterior photo background? (Not too attactive, so viewers still can focus interior scene.)
  13. Jon, You can import SKP model directly in MAX. When you import, don't forget to check "by layers" option. You might need to save back to SKP 7 to do this. Hope it works for you.
  14. Also check your camera exposure settings (shutter speed, F-stop like a real camera), if you already put light sources and made target geometry renderable.
