  1. Shahid: Thank you. The ground material is the sand. I would like to have the garden golf course look with bunkers etc. There is the displacement map with ripples and that effect lifted the mesh little bit. It is on my TO DO list :-) I still dont know whether I cover or not the pool edge with stone tiles. That would rise the border and solve this problem. I hope I expressed my thoughts well. I dont write in english very often. Sorry if it is unclear :-)
  2. well... Ernest... thanks for your kind opinion :-) You know you're in the WIP section, right? In the final image all lights will be OFF, pool will be covered with plastic foil and the whole house won't be seen because af the mist. The story is little bit post-apocalyptic, so there won't be any people.
  3. Hi Sandeep, I think you should work a lot on your lighting and materials. Lighting: there is a lack of detail in your lighting caused by the rendering setup, I think. Try to go through some profesional archwiz tutorial (there are plenty of them on the market). Work on your understanding of the Irradiance map settings - bad setup can destroy all the light contrast in your scene. Vray sun+sky is the best start to work with in the archwiz industry. Try to work with windows vray light portal in interior renderings. materials: try to search the web for reference photos (google image search is a miracle). Keep focus on the right scale and high quality of your textures. I hope this will help a bit. Cheers, David
  4. Thanks for your post Sandeep! I should mention I'm trying to achive something like "early morning look" with the low intensity day light and artifical lights as well to show the interior. I will work on my lighting as you adviced and we'll see how it will affect the look of the planks and noise on the water (there is some :-)

    Vray Mirror Material

i dont use rhino and i am not the caustics or photon mapping specialist, but as i remember.... if you are using sun, u have to watch the "photon emit radius" setting (its the radius of the tube gizmo around the sun object) - I hope its same in rhino... try to keep the radius as small as posible - smaller radius means less photons = less memory, time etc. your mirror should be inside the green tube gizmo representing this setting (photons are not emitted outside the gizmo)

    Vray Mirror Material

this effect is called reflective caustics (see the name of that picture you have posted :-) its quite tricky to tweak the settings - its based on the photon mapping in most cases see vray on-line help here http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150SP1/ for more info - its far to complex for this forum..
