  1. I think it works great, We only showed it to one client so far but he was pretty amazed by it. Here is link to a rendering of an office lobby I did for the Gear VR : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B24yZFEnOJGgQWU5azdpaUYxdm8/view?usp=sharing Not sure if the default 360photo app can correctly read the stereoscopic cubic camera images. ORBX player works great and the images seem to load rather quickly.
  2. Yea, the Probabilistic lights were the problem. Thanks for your help
  3. I recently upgraded to the latest version of Vray 3.2 and now all my IES lights produce huge amounts of noise in the scene. What setting can I adjust to get rid of the noise ?
  4. I got the Samsung Gear VR and it works great with just simple 360 panoramas. I haven't tried the stereoscopic panoramas yet. What file format would the stereoscopic images have to be saved as ? In the VFB it just looks like two panoramas next to eachother (4:1 aspect ratio) and does anyone know what app would be able to open those on the Gear VR ?
  5. I'm working on an aerial animation of a large site, and the horizon line is visible in some camera paths. I'm using a dome light with HDRI sky to light the scene. Would VrayEnvironmental Fog or zdepth map work better to cover up the horizon line ? How would I use the zdepth map in AfterEffects so that the sky map is still visible. When I tried using VrayEnvironmental fog, the whole scene was covered in fog. Is there a way to eliminate the fog from areas closer to the camera? Any other ways to do it ? Thanks in advance for any help on this
  6. Hello, I'm trying to render an exterior fly-through animation but I have a problem with pre calculating the irradiance map. I use light cache in fly-through mode and irradiance map in multiframe incremental mode. After pre-calculating the light cache and switching it to from file mode, the irradiance map takes around 30min. per each frame ! When I switched the light cache to single frame mode, Irradiance map calculates in 2.5 min. per frame. Why is the light cache from file causing the the irradiance map to take so much longer to calculate ? What am I doing wrong ?
