I'm trying to improve my workflow by creating a material library. When I create the library from my existing file everything looks good to go and I save it in the materiallibraries folder. My problem is when I reopen the library in a new file all my Bitmap slots are blank. Can someone tell me why this is happening? Can I save a material to the material library with the bitmaps?

I’m trying to figure out why I get dirty surfaces on my project. It seems I only get this result when the surfaces are at a grater angle to the camera (The fascia). I’m sure it is a common setting I haven’t figured out yet. Can someone please help? Fred

Just wanted drop a big thanks to all the contributors of this website. I have taught myself 3dsmax by reading this forum and this new skill has kept me employed in a tough building market. You need to subdivide the surface that you are using the grass displacement on. or you could just cut it up a little using the cut tool. Fred

Just wanted to say I finally got my textures yesterday. Everything looks good. I was just concerned because the site says “instant download” and I never got download instructions. I eventually received the download link the next day. I should be more patient. Fred

Has anyone used Got3d lately? Yesterday I purchased a but-load of textures but never got the option to download anything. My receipt stated that I would receive an email but never got one. Did I just louse my money? Is anyone else having this experience? Thanks Fred

Hi guys, I’m very new to the 3d game and I’m looking for some advice. I’m trying to do some basic renderings for a builder and would appreciate if some one could help me with a question. My siding and roof textures are rendering fuzzy or blurry on the surfaces that are at a grater angle to the camera. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
