  1. I tried every solution mentioned here but with no luck . Eventually I had to use a different lighting approach because for some reason using vray dome light was causing the problem but any other light type didn't!
  2. thank you all for your replies ill consider them all
  3. Hello everybody I am working on a big scene (theme park) and there is around 140 street lamp model in the park, my question is which is better for scene and RAM management: to attach them all as one Edit Poly or keep each one separate with them being instanced ofcourse? Thanks
  4. @Juraj Talcik okay thanks a lot
  5. @Chris MacDonald thank you so much my first question in now fully answered! but what is the pros and cons of using adaption with sRGB versus unchecking adaption and sRBG? i.e: "burning in" the gamma as you mentioned? because this means all my previous scenes where using the "burn in" workflow.. and does this mean I was working in LWF?
  6. Hello guys, I know this subject has been around for a while and many people have posted help on how to setup LWF but I have a couple of my questions I hope you can answer so here they are: 1. Should I "enable gamma/LUT correction" from max preferences with 2.2 Gamma and check vray's "Don't affect colors (adaption only)" OR disable "enable gamma/LUT correction" and check vray's "Linear workflow" button in Color mapping? I've seen both methods used by different people so I'm confused which method is correct and what is the difference? 2. When I'm using LWF I should press "sRGB" in VFB why? I should have it on all the time while working in max with LWF? Thanks!!
  7. ok thank you all so much i will consider all of your solutions
  8. Hello people, Im working on an interior scene and i've been facing this problem and cant find a solution, why the render looks washed away? I know this can be fixed in post but I want my render to be as good as possible directly out of vray and 3ds max then enhance it in post for lighting the scene im using vray sky and a skyportal at the window opeing and some ceiling ies lights here are my setting and an example of the render with added contrast via VFB and without thanks
