Does anyone remember the computer desks that were on sale in the 1990s
(does anyone, for that matter, even remember the 1990s? They're, like,
a whole other millennium, dude...)? The one that I had was designed so
that the monitor was slung lower at the back; the screen was tilted
up, as a result, at an angle of around 45Ëš, with the bottom lip of the
monitor at about the level of the desk and the back of the monitor
(these were, of course, CRT displays; if you don't know what one is,
ask a grownup to explain them, along with phones that were attached to
your house) several inches lower than the desk itself.
My wife had an even better one the monitor was suspended completely
under the desk; the surface of the desk was made of glass, so the
monitor was visible but, again, at a comfortable angle to look at
(unless you put something on the glass).
I've looked for pictures on the Google, but to no avail.
