Hi, I was wondering how to charge for 3d renderings of spaces either interior or exterior. If the client offers me the Autocad files (floor plan, Elevations) but I still need to model the space how would you go about pricing out the project. Thanks

Hi I am trying to use the 3dmax plugin Floor Generator. I have a wall I would like to use the generator on, its a fireplace wall with a cutout in the wall for the fire place and the wall mounted tv. As you see in the picture. I draw my poly lines and make sure they are closed and press the Create button, but it is not creating it. Please look at the image below of what the fireplace is of. I have the model+model book manager script, but it seems to not want to fill that type of shape. But I am not sure if I am using correct settings to do it.

Hi, I am wondering how do I fill a book shelf with books. quicker then individually placing each book. To populate the shelf much quicker and easier and less time consuming. The bookshelf is an arch look at the image attached. Thank You. This image is a Top View of the shelf polygon itself.

Hi, I was wondering how do I render a selected object only like in mental ray but in Vray. While it still receives lighting reflection and the scene aroudn the particular object. Thank you.

I have a scene and trying to get rid of the noise in the materials that I am using. It seems to be a common thing for me when rendering in Vray. If someone might be able to guide me on what to do when you get noise in your final renderings and steps to take to get rid of it would be great. I also used SolidRocks for this rendering with a Good quality setting if that helps. And I could make the max file available if someone wouldnt mind taking a look at it either. Thanks a lot. Thanks Covo, will give those ideas a try, already have subdiv of materials from 20-30 and tring to go for more of a night scene type of look, thats why its a bit dark

I have a question, when using fryrender as a render for 3dmax, can i use photometric lights and standard sun or do i have to use fryrender sun, i dont see fryrender lights. Also i am using mray materials in my project, do i have to switch the materials to standard? thanks much
