  1. Excellent idea! Very inventive, Creates good geometry too in contrast to extruding the nurbs and adding the unwrap modifier. Thanks! Samir
  2. Hey guys, I'm having a difficult time figuring out what the best way to map this object so that brick pavers would sort of flow with the two sides. Spline mapping doesn't work since you can only specify one side. I tried UVW unwrapping in the following manner but it is producing wacky results. I'm not sure what else to do or try. Thanks, Samir
  3. Hey guys, I have a camera animated along a path, and in the motion tab I have set the position to bezier float. But there is one portion along the spline (long span between two points) where I would like the camera to move in a linear fashion. I set up the two keyframes and in curve editor I set the first keyframe to 'linear out' and the next to 'linear in'. The position/percentage f-curve looks like how I want it. But the actual animation doesn't reflect it at all. The camera moves very slow at the beginning of this sequence then accelerates greatly to reach the next keyframe. I appreciate your help, Samir
  4. Is there in existence a script, plugin or else which would maintain an active link to a sketchup model in max so that when a skp model is updated you can simply refresh it in max while all material assignments and uvw's remain as you had them previously? Similar to what you can do with dwgs... This would be incredible. Thanks, Samir --- Website: http://www.samirpatel.us
  5. The two things I see are: 1. Lacks depth, needs more/better shading to have it pop out, so to speak. 2. The perspective is off. Make it a two-point perspective - it will be easier to place to entourage...(which there is too much of, as the previous poster mentioned.)
  6. Yeah looks good, but be sure to put 8gb ddr3 or more in there...and a 64bit os of course.
