  1. Great work Bertrand! How did you achieve your depth of field? Was it rendered in or did you do it in post?
  2. Studio/Institution: F10 Studios Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: 3D max, vray, photoshop Website: http://www.f10studios.co.uk Description: This was one of three images i produced for a Hotel in Bangalore. Bit cheesy, but I think it works.
  3. Hi ya, pretty hectic render eh? It was rendered on a dual Xeon @ 2.67 with 24GB of RAM. It took 5hrs to render a 5k image which is not too bad considering how much geometry there is.
  4. Studio/Institution: F10 Studios Client: F10 Genre: Landscaping Software: V-ray, 3D Max, Photoshop, Forest Pro Website: http://www.f10studios.co.uk Description: Here is a forest test scene that will be part of an animation for our new showreel.
  5. Really good image! Delete the people.......
  6. Thanks mate. I believe its been in a couple of mags and papers. Not sure which ones though....
  7. Studio/Institution: F10 Studios Client: Marks Barfield Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: Vray, Max, PhotoShop Website: http://www.f10studios.co.uk Description: This was one of a series of images for the i360 in Brighton. It was a bit of a tricky one. As the pod is made out of a mirrored surface we had to build the environment to reflect. Although the reflections are subtle I felt it was essential to achieve the realism.
  8. Yeah! Might have to do an X-rated version... In fact there might big market for this...
  9. Cheers mate! I really admire your work as well. It great to see that you like to add people into your images. It’s a real skill in its self. And on live projects! At the end of the day this is what the client wants, not an empty lifeless abyss…
  10. Studio/Institution: F10 Studios Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: 3DMax, Vray, Photoshop Website: http://www.f10studios.co.uk Description: This is one of my latest works. It was for a completion bid, which I later found out that they won.
  11. This image has a really nice feel. Good lighting. A few things though... The carpet needs a bit of work to stop it tiling as well as the cupboards at the back. Finally I think the fireplace could be a little darker to hide the brickwork that sits behind the candles. You could also have a little play with the levels and curves in post to add a little more depth.
  12. Studio/Institution: F10 Studios Client: -*- Genre: Residential Exterior Software: Max, Vray Website: http://www.f10studios.co.uk Description: Here is the second view.
  13. Ello, well the render times were quite high as I used brute force GI. Fortunately we have quite a hardcore set up here so I distributed it over a few machines and managed to get it down to 8hrs for a 5k image.
