  1. About the decoration. It's the logo of our company made with many rendering images. Some programs do that. About the polys. Unlimited polys. instant rendering time, real time animation. May be too tired to think of that, ZFact
  2. I know that my customer's idea seems a little silly, but the point is what is going on about the law with packages that developers and dealers stop selling or supporting. How can you purchase them? Are you Illegal? An example of that is that Autodesk stopped selling AutoCAD 2002 and before, what do I do when I need one of these? Am I illegal? Some things that AutoCAD 2000 did can't be found at newer versions, or your clients give you old formats, etc. There are many reasons to buy an old package. What can you do?
  3. A client of mine have recently asked me how can he find a legal copy of 3D Studio for DOS. He told me that the quality that offers is enough for him and he doesn't want to buy one of the expensive new packages. I told him that there is not authorised dealer for that program and he asked me to tell him what to do. I wonder what is the solution about such problems. When a company stops selling an old program which is the way to use it. Are you illegal if you do so?
  4. Your background can't be gray since sun comes through windows. Try white and may be you should make that glow. Then the mistakes on lightning will be more obvious.
  5. It is exactly the problem of normals. You should prepare the normals in MAX before putting that in Lightscape and then back again to MAX. It's very tricky though you should soon find a good renderer in MAX and unfortunately leave Lightscape.

    Vray 1.45 vs Vray 1.46

I think the issue is not what's the problem with that scene, it's the way that different versions handle it and I think its obvious that the previous version of vray handles that better. I think that we should see more "problems" and "differences" between the two versions in order to decide which is better. If you make models with model like this, with coplanar faces, etc. you should change the way you are modeling or stay with the older verion of v-ray.
  7. The only bad about that image is the tree on the left, generally its great. Where do you found that good photo? The client gave it to you or you did it by yourself?
  8. I recently used a clients photo to make a photomontage and the quality of the photo was bad. I decided to buy a digital photocamera, in order to photo the buildings my own, whenever that possible. Are there any suggestions about the models. I usualy make 3200x2400 images. Any help...
  9. Unfortunately. Are there any ideas?
  10. It looks like a good rendering, there are a few minor things that I could change: The mapping on the ceiling is a little big. There are no light sources at the wall at the right. Nice glasses.
  11. I am making this building in Greece, I want some comments, please
  12. I think that there are not difficulties in modeling an object the difficulty is to apply the correct materials and use the correct mapping. It should be light (no much faces) and well organised. Try new models of cars.
  13. Need some more samples for the noise at the wall. May be you should try some different lightning tricks for the stair, because the steps seems united. May be you should change the vertical parts of the steps with something brighter in order to see the steps.
  14. May be you should post an image with the new floor (dark one) and we will help you with that. I think that this is your problem. If this doesn't work then decrease your light multipliers.
