  1. Colin Senner's Relink Bitmaps script will change your life. You're welcome.
  2. This is a great idea. Especially for office desks. Thanks!
  3. Hi Augusto, sorry I never replied to this. Yes, I use it for both personal and business. I also look for and contact freelancers there. Hope you have been building up your Behance profile since this post!
  4. Maybe? You can render out a stereo panoramic cube maps in animation and put it in the Occulus. However this isn't the same thing as being able to move freely around the space in VR. Did you make any progress on this?
  5. NO! Booleans are not allowed in this studio. Only under extreme circumstance and with special permission. You should learn how to model in quads. Always have welded verts with proper edge loops. Yes, it takes a little more time - but is saves you headaches down the road.
  6. Sadly even with terms and contracts, people still steal images. It happens to us all the time. We've had people print construction billboards with our watermarked renderings. Watermarks are annoying - but make sure they are clearly across the entire image. We watermark our entire online portfolio now, like this: http://www.studio2a.net/portfolio In this case there isn't much you can do. This is why rule #2 - "Don't do stuff for free". You could spend a lot of money on a lawyer to send them letters to try to get compensated. I'm guessing you want to stay friendly with this architect and developer? You could ask them nicely to not publish them, but in the end maybe just chalk it up to a learning experience.
  7. +1 John probably don't need sales tax for professional service, but good to check. Get on Reddit. Very active small business / entrepreneur help threads there. I would also recommend you find and consult a good CPA before you do anything. Will save you a lot of headaches down the road.
  8. Absolutely. Can you build good 3d models? Studio2a is looking for freelancers.... PM me.
  9. You build a solid online portfolio and promote it. Like this: Studio2a 3d portfolio But seriously, I think being on a portfolio network set like Behance, is even more important than having your own website nowadays. This is where people are browsing and making connections. I'm just old school with my website.
  10. It's not worth the energy. You'll never win that fight. You should always make creative suggestions, but don't expect a response. Ultimately "the client is always right" - even when they aren't. There is a reason not every projects makes it into the portfolio....
  11. You want to check out Max "Scene States". You can set different "States" for each camera. Or you can animate the sun settings. The trouble with animation is - you never remember to flip to the right frame before you render.
