  2. Hello all, for sometime I am trying to find the way to make my 3D arch models (which i made in 3DS max 10, vray) interactive, so user can interactively walk around, interior and exterior. I have seen Quest3D can do it, but looks like is very difficult, after you import 3DSmax models into Quest3D, you have to almost start from the beginning not being able to import texture and lights, all in all interface is way to difficult... Another interesting one is Unreal Development Kit but not sure can you make a program for user, or they have to have a game engine. Is there some easy way to make architecture models interactive, and good quality preview? Regards

Hi Libertycityanimation, I was actually thinking of something like this http://store.got3d.com/3d-textures.html#people-textures I mainly doing architectural 3d, and not intended to do high or low poly people, but to populate scene with people textures on the planes with alpha channel applied.   5. Thanks Alless, dof is depth of field, and what it does, maind odject appears in focus, and closer and further objects become more or less blurry. this is camera setup. To be hones with you, I still did not use it, bur felt, that might be usefull for this image. Best regards Srdjan

  8. Howzat Piet, that is very good idea, but the people want to have circles on elipsoid, and using your, must say very good idea , will make circles ito elipses Regards Srdjan
  9. Howzat Piet, When I tried to do that I endup with some overlaping circles, the difference was I modified sphere to elipsoid, maybe thats why it did strange things. I like your model it looks almost perfect Regards Srdjan

  11. Hi guys, thanks for the post. In the meantime, I made sphere, squashed it to get basic geometry, and started to UVW unwrap. It is going to take me some time to unwrap, I "exploded" it in so many polygons (in uvw unwrap) to make it more precise, btw it is going to be my first Only thing is if I do this way, I will not have a thiskness, unless I do some sort of displacement. To adjust manually, edit polys, it will be very long, also it is not going to be precise enough. Only some elegant way may work effectivly. Regards Srdjan
  12. Hello all, I got request to do renderable wire made out of ellipses. It is quite difficult for me to name it correctly, let me try to enplane: Imagine soccer ball, made out pentagon objects, instead I need sphere, made out circles. I know it is not possible to make it using exactly the same circles, towards top and bottom, it can have smaller circles, and after that I would squash using scale tool to make ellipsoid . I tried to model by scattering renderable circles on the sphere, but the problem was, circles are overlapping towards top and the bottom, which is not acceptable in my model. Can antibody help me with suggestion, or tut how can I make such object. Regards Srdjan

    Hello batteryoperatedlettuce, thanks for the reply and thanks for your big effort by drawing for me It does make a sence, but I am worryed is it going to be possible doing very precisely, I have to follow some cad drawing, and specially if has to be changed. I was thinking and trying using some splines, lofts, surfaceing, but did not get what I want... Aldough, I like what you did in the skech! Regards Srdjan
