  1. Really nice views... Even if its clean.. its looking nice and smooth.. The Wall cladding has got really nice feel to it.. Loved it... Hate it when client wants it all lite and clean and you have got the perfect views for them. Cheers Man...
  2. Hey guys, Here's the second view done in overcast evening look..
  3. Hey Corey.. Thanks... Actually I had modeled this house approx a year ago. Was going through my Old Work files and came across with this model.. Just thought of giving it a landscape to stand on and started working. The only thing that came into my mind was a Jungle look... Wanted to focus more on the landscape rather than the house... But really appreciate and understand what u saying and will keep that in mind and hope that u will find it much better in my later renders.. Thanks again...
  4. Studio/Institution: Personal Genre: Residential Exterior Software: 3Ds Max, Vray, Photoshop Website: http://nthscripts.in Description: Hey All, Here's my latest work done in the spare time for myself. Not a modelling guy. Just wanted to do try my hands on modelling stuff.. Comments and critics are most welcome. Here's the passes i used to create the Final Image.
  5. Hey Nichlas, I assume you using a plane object for the water surface. Try giving it a thickness with shell or making a new water object using a box. Reflection and Refraction works best with thickness in the object. Hope this will help you..
  6. Hey Chetan.. Could you take a snapshot of the Render Elements window and post it here. it will be easier to understand that way.
  7. Hey Jon.. Yup already tried it.. I think its not corrupt.. Its just getting hanged when its trying to subdivide the mesh. taking lots of memory to subdivide and finally running out of memory..
  8. Hey Guys.. This is one really stupid issue, but i need to solve this asap. I am working on a Landscape model and created a plane and started applying modifiers[EditPoly, Subdivide, Noise, EditPoly, Relax, Subdivide, Noise] to make it as real as possible. It was working very smoothly. Kind of finished my work and closed the file. Now when m opening the file, its getting stuck in Subdividing the object. If i cancel the subdivision, the object gets destroyed. Need the solution to open the file with the same object. Is there any way to convert the file to .obj or .fbx without opening it to 3Ds Max. PLEASE HELP !!!!
  9. Hey John... If i have understood the problem, I will suggest using Object Vray Properties to set up a Matte Shadow Objects. There is problem in VrayMatteShadow Mtl with Reflections and Refractions. It has bugged me once and i never use Material for Matte Shadows. Try it out.. Hope you get your results. Thanks..
  10. Even i have had the same problem with some of my projects. Its seriously irritating.. Couldn't find the solution, so had to remove the Fog to a decent output. Here's one image with the same problem..
  11. There is a Script Named as MergeTwo in BlurScripts.... Its just a simple File Merging tool.. But if we can call an Asset Collector script from there, i think it can do the job... Just a Wild guess... M surely going to try that.. If it works or not...
  12. There has to be a Standard Material or a Raytrace Material in the scene... try finding that.. I think that's the problem...
  13. Hey Jay... Here are some point u can try with.. Set your IRR to Custom and set the Min to -4 and Max to -1 and H Subdivisions to 30 and Int Samples to 28 Light cache Subdiv to 800, Sample Size to .015, Pre-Filter 32, Interp Samples to 5 and switch on "Use for glossy rays" and "Retrace" in DMC Sampler set your Adaptive Amount to 0.8, Noise thres to .005, Global Subdiv Multi to 2 and Min samples to 64 In Color Mapping set Type to Reinhard and Burn Value to 0.65 to 0.75. Try this out if something works out for you.. And one more thing for Animation rendering First Calculate the IRR with Incremental add to current Map and LC with Flythrough on every 10th or 20th Frames with Don't render final image on.. and then use it the saved calculations to render your final Image. Hope you got it.. If not you will need to reupload your project file as its not downloadable. Thanks
  14. When it comes to 3Ds Max and Vray... I seriously don't trust any Hard Core knowledge... Sometimes it works, sometimes its not... But i still try to fix it in all ways possible..
  15. try doing a irr calculation on 1 system and then use the saved irr and lc and then try rendering it with DR. I think it should solve the problem.. If not atleast we will understand that this is not GI issue.. And if it works.. Then great...
