  1. Thanks for all the help! I'm curious to know how long it takes you to scatter the grass on average.
  2. Thanks! For some reason I'm not allowed to view the post though. It tells me that I have insufficient privileges.
  3. Thanks, Eliot! I'll definitely look into that!
  4. Hi everyone! I'm trying to scatter grass proxies in an area, however, they keep spreading to areas that I don't want them to. Any tips on how to get them to "respect" the boundry? I'm using the fur plugin to scatter them.
  5. I agree with the comments. I don't think those tropical plants on the balconies would survive the winter either. The mood is quite nice though!
  6. Looks good! I would suggest easing the edge of the counter to get a realistic highlight and maybe adjusting the camera angle. It's tough to tell what's going on with the area in my opinion. Are you texturing things in Photoshop? Also, the window reflection in the mirror doesn't match. I would try to find a way to render the image with the background so you don't have to deal with post pro reflections.
  7. Haha! I can see the resemblance! Nice work, Jonathan!
  8. Fantastic work! I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your photoshop workflow for the project?
  9. I think it looks great! As someone who was born and raised in beantown, I like the concept and I'm looking forward to the future works!

  11. Thanks for the comments, everyone! I took most of the suggestions into consideration and rendered the image again. I posted the new image, so let me know what you think.
  12. Thanks for the comments, Aubrey. I agree, the sink looks shallow.
  13. Studio/Institution: Freelance Genre: Residential Interior Software: Sketchup, Vray, GIMP Description: I saw this kitchen in Dwell Magazine and thought it would be fun to model and render it. Photos of the project can be seen here http://www.dwell.com/slideshows/serra-residence-kitchen-renovation.html?slide=1&c=y&paused=true C&C's always welcome.
