  1. As for me the first problem is connected with the scales of the textures (wood, water waves) and objects (the trees on the back side). Also the horisont line of the back image doesn't fit the render. And some more work with materials (wood, concrete, water and shore) and lighting (the image seems flat, as for me there is no enougth contrast ) would be nice.
  2. Yes, this soviet architecture is totaly uninspiring. And it's very stange that construction companies are still build such houses, as for me it would not be very hard to try to find some new interesting structures for housing, but it seems that they doesn't want to change there mind in this question and it's very pity.
  3. Is this cardboard mood connected with people in the pictures? Also it would be interesting to hear what you think about the general atmosphere of the pictures?

  9. Hi to everyone! I have a question connected with posting at "Architectural Visualization Gallery". Could we post there works that show some interior details, for example furniture, lustres or something else? Here is the image example we are thinking to post:
  10. As for me, back DOF seems odd. Also it's more comfortable to render such images by plans (The tree -front plan and the other image is the back plan) and then compose them together, it would help to get rid of sharp edges on some objects caused by composed DOF, and the same thing with the other objects which you can split by plans.
  11. Very nice image, Elliott. But as for me this DOF causes feeling of a little bit toy style of the building. In general the image looks very good but I think some more details like stones, bushes and sticks would not be excessive for the environment.
  12. Hope it would be interesting and usefull for someone: Here is compositing break down and some information about the tree animation.
