  1. This might be a better angle for the view you have chosen, pulling the camera back , makes less of furniture and connects the angled wall with steeply angling slope of the surrounds. Plus the severe right angled view is used to set up a context for the angled wall. So highlight the compositional elements of the design in the images to make the image describe the reason for the architecture.
  2. Found some image of interior. So furniture looks right. The Mies chairs in your composition blocks the view too much, too important in that angle. See how furniture is used to guide eye to connect with view and place (context) outside. Composition is very important and you need to ask for crits regarding that I suppose. Camera is also lifted to a degree to make wall and floor lines clear as connection between in and outside is indicated by these linear lements.
  3. You might need some reference images for the interior as well. Some of the furniture placement looks too forced or the scale too big not sure. Would be good if you could give some image refs. of interior, so intention of space and its relation to exterior becomes clear.
  4. Great images, but those hands!!! are they Evermotion? Really they have become a pet hate. BTW I like the linear lights in cutouts.
  5. BVI

    Yebo Gogo! :)

  6. Thats a really bad way to cut wood. Grain should run lengthways.Rest is good.
  7. Nice reading, thanks for the tutorial . Yip you could do it in Vray ,but the result is definitely slower and less predictable. I think this a very fast method of working, great results on pressure jobs.More intuitive , you set a colour light in vray and it washes out to nothing or doesnt even show up on the wall you need it to, so rerender etc, etc.
  8. I can not believe how selfish you people are! You want individuality when everybody around you are just trying to fit in. What do you think a neighbourhood of individual expression looks like , Its a mess !!!!! I can not agree more , nothing better than messing around in your own yard. Thats why i am about to do it all over again, cant wait!
  9. Very nice.I also think the design seems to try a bit hard in places. your attention to detail is great. I think the little pincushion proteas in bathroom are fantastic, always like to see the bit of local influence in design .The rest of design bothers me as it is seems very asian design influenced, which is not your problem. I assume that it is an african hotel. Oh ,the last thing was a couple of hard edges on dining chairs. They definitely seem cg-ish.
  10. He did mention a language barrier. The work is of such a quality and schemes so big that I am sure its produced by a studio and not just an individual. I am not sure if it is necessary to expect detailed descriptions from threads in the finished work section. I would like to know the workflow for those detailed cinematic animations though.
  11. The wide angle proportion is great and I honestly can not see that interiors are overlit. Very consistent and light. Love the landscaping colours (planting) on the one overhead of pool. Well done !
  12. I think I have had luck before remodelling parts and then exporting rest of revit parts like the podium to 3ds and re-importing into another file or something. This shrunk the file from 280 megs to something like 30 or so.Wish I could remember what I did, In that case I think the building was white so materials was no problem.
  13. Maybe then add detail to the roof edge its too simple . Maybe use camera correction ,as the column right in front definitely tapers in. Some plants on the Veranda or whatever its called, or just cover the whole building in ivy.
  14. Yip ,strange they are. The peak on the roof is a detail taken from the local granaries ,a small elevated storeroom that is thatched with something that looks a bit like a witches hat. I eventually made these too big I think. I am also not sure if i lke the full tented dome inside, would have rather seen more of the roof structure from underneath. Thanks for the comments. You are right, the environment on the night view needed more work, but I ran out of time.
  15. The gable behind is very low ,this is what makes it a difficult image. So I am not sure what the image should show if it is the wide veranda , then it could easily be a view from closer in ,showing just that. It might work better to rotate so you see more of the short wall. Right now it is confusing as the building behind the roofed over section is not clear. Context. Clubhouse for what? include specific activity to the function of the clubhouse. Maybe just use one pane for the panelled glass window, or attach them and re-apply material. Do you use a map in your reflection slot that it repeats in each window section ? Not sure
