  1. I don't understand what u r trying to do but u can connect the verticis in triangular or rectangular form by adding lines into it and just apply surface modifier on it. don't forget to weld them first.

  4. Hi guys, i guess this is a software bug.. sweep modifiers own shapes work fine but custom shape doesnt sweep properly(i tried different custom shapes too) here r some photos.. I thought i could be a problem with open rectangle so i closed the loop but nada..
  5. i hate the new interface when i go to object isolation, i can't exit it i have to right click and unhide all

  9. i got quadro 5000 once and it was the stupidest purchase ive ever made.. it has the same performance as gtx580.. if u want to enable sli for iray rendering, dont! iray doesnt support sli and can use each card individually no matter what model it is as long as its cüda! if u wanna enable it for games, sli might be turn off in the bios..

  11. maybe u cant do like this if u cant do it any other way.. make the lights on the ceiling self illuminating material with low power so that its only visible.. then put one big rectangular light that will cover the whole ceiling. go it its properties and make it invisible to camera and reflections.. that should give u a very even downlight and render time should be considerably low
  12. why dont u use self illumination in A&D material?
  13. i assume the easiest way would be using gravity and setting the bowl as collusion object and run the animation.
