  1. Studio/Institution: Free work Client: Myself Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3ds Max 2012, VRay, Photoshop Description: After quite a while, I have at least the first picture out of a series related to my latest interior project... comments and critics welcome
  2. Although in the wrong forum, try setting the primary bounces to Irradiance Map with Medium settings and set secondary to light cache... 1500 samples, sample size as it is originally... should work fine
  3. What kind of material did you use on te leaves? Is it Vray 2sided material?
  4. Try to use the image as a VRay light material and drop it in the slot there... maybe it will help

I think the gemometry is just fine, some things that bother me are the people..... the 3D people look awful (I know, I use them as well in my pictures but to be honest they mostly dont look too good) and the RPC people seem to be a little stretched horizontally.... other than that, the counter area seems to be a little too bright, maybe reduce the light sources there a little or just swap some of the materials colors in the background, for example some ornaments on the white wall behind the counter could help to avoid the walll looking burnt out....
  7. WOW - just for curiosity: What parts are photoshopped and what is CG? Guess the streets are photos, right? Well anyway, great work IMO - 5 stars from me!

I like the design in general, but cant figure out the relations of size.... it looks like the building is like really huge, but then the tree has the totally wrong size and doesnt fit in the visual context - same as the pool in the foreground.... if you would say, the tree is like 3 metres tall then the building would be way too small with the ceiling hanging down too low....

  11. I personally dont like the sparkles since I dont see the use of them.... What is the building supposed to be since its all empty and just 3 floor high walls with windows - is it supposed to be some kind of entrance hall?
  12. what does the 50m stand for - 50 minutes? 50 metres? Or just 50m?
  13. I really cant say much about it since the artistic touch didnt reach me... its all pretty consistent and probably if I could see the meaning behind it, I would probably not look that much on aspects like modelling and shading but on the originally meant purpose....

I really like it: Just 2 things... the curtains look pretty much unnatural, so maybe you can check out giving them a 2sided Material or something with a little transparency... and I really dont like the brick texture since its looking a little too "round" and soft.... should be a little more roughness

I really like the architecture and the choice of colors, but somehow something is disturbing me: Still I cant figure out if it is due to the materials looking a little flat overall or if its caused by the integration of fore- and background..... maybe try to add some kind of plane with a reflection image and place it outside the picture so the windows wont just reflect the grass plane and the blue horizon line.... other than that, really sweet work!
