  1. Finally, i have found the way to turn off the render memory!! As in image attached. Now VFB can render animation sequence cleanly without any overlapping on previous render.
  2. Thanks so much Corey for the suggestion. Indeed the 'Memory Frame Buffer' was ticked when i was rendering attached email. So i have done a few frames of test render right away after your reply. When i UN-tick it, only the render process are running without the VFB. And there are no output written. So i cant see what is vray rendering. I only can see the progress bar.. On the other hand, ive disable VFB and use standard Max Frame Buffer, everything render/output written perfectly without any overlapping image. So, i guess we cannot use "Render by Layer" using VFB?
  3. Hi all, Ive render my animation with "render by Layer" and save whole 360 frames in tiff format. And the result seems to be overlapped as shown in picture attached. Do i missed some settings?? ive try to save in Png. format, but it turns out the same..
  4. Thanks mate. will give it a try
  5. thanks for the opinion man. i will try to check it out. Hope it is user friendly. will let u know once ive try it out . ~cheers mate!
  6. salute Arnold Sher! very inspiring view for all of us here..by the way do u have any others suggestions/revision on animation pipeline?
  7. Hi, anybody can suggest me the best render farm services by experience? So far ive try Fox Render + Drop&Render. DR is much straight forward process in submitting jobs than FR. Ive used FR couple of times and the nightmare parts was on submitting the job. Really didnt recommend it for a rush render or a newbies.

    color bleeds

THANK YOU for your generous explanation. It was blured before and now i can clearly understand the basics or IR and BF. IR setting can look good and fast for a frame, but if applied to the whole animation, it does render quick with a flicker of course (Y_Y) Also experimenting on Solid Rocks to ease the pain of the settings..
  9. Yes, i agreed with above comments. scale/propotion and material property

    color bleeds

Hello all, After a long break..currently im working on interior scenes for animation using vray 3.4. Some how i cant figure out why are those colors bleeds as shown in picture attached. Im a bit new in animation with vray. Currently i used Sketchup/3dsmax-Vray (modeling and rendering) -AfterEffect/Vegas (for compositions). What is the best format to use for all the prepass? because its eating all my hardisk space for a 2minutes animation. thanks in advanced.
  12. there is some restriction limit on which cuda / open cl can render. Try a simple scene first. For example a car. If cuda/open cl work fine with it then that means that ur gpu is OK with vray. Maybe its just ur scene setting / size that makes the error. regards, muck
  13. thanks for the useful input my friend. Well, now i have to really consider it once again - within my budget. =] most of the input i get about any computer system benchmark / performance are for gaming. That's y im kinda lost n confused! lols! regards, muck
  14. hello all, i truly cant afford the i7's. Been using amd since my 1st pc. currently im using x6 1055T. OC to 3.4Ghz. Up till now she never let me down. Perform greatly in work and as well in leisure. But now im planning to upgrade to 8150FX+asus v formula.Still kinda blur with its performance with 3d rendering loads. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. regards, muck
