  1. true that! If I'd had a little more time I would have, but other projects beckoned and this was but a pitch.
  2. Studio/Institution: csparrott Genre: Commercial Interior Software: rhino, 3ds max, photoshop Website: http://csparrott.wordpress.com Description: Hi! A couple of images from a recent project - but as ever I value the input of this forum so I thought I'd throw them out to you guys for comments! These were modelled in max, but then the claddings and such were done is rhino - I designed the theatres, my mate did the lobby but I did the visuals of all. 2 weeks for the lot. Anyway, sling mud my way! Any comments appreciated. Chris
  3. Bit of a funny one. I've got some Vray cameras across a model for some visuals. However, now I would like to have a walkthrough animation through the model BUT it needs to pause at where the original cameras are set up and produce the same image. So my question is, can I link the still cameras into one walkthrough animation? A way I thought might work is if I copied all information from one camera (position, properties etc) and applied it to a single camera as keyframe information, then repeat. Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
  4. Well SHUCKS. Thanks! I'm currently working full time in an exhibition and theme park design company in London. Ideal work for my interests, but I also do a little digital painting illustration and also stuff like designs for setworks in Glastonbury. Lots of work out there if you vary your folio.
  5. Thanks for the comments guys. Compositional skills is something I am reading up on, so hopefully will improve over time.. FWIW this is my 5th and 6th year uni Architecture work... 6 http://csparrott.wordpress.com/2013/06/08/march-final-year-submission-all-watched-over-by-machines-of-loving-grace/ 5 http://csparrott.wordpress.com/2012/06/29/portfolio-march-5th-year/
  6. I sort of did it! Thanks all, knew you wouldn't let me down.
  7. Hi Jose, that looks like what I'm after, but I can't work out how you did it. Can you elaborate? Thanks!
  8. Studio/Institution: CSParrott Genre: Other Software: 3ds max, photoshop Website: http://csparrott.wordpress.com/ Description: Hi I've been working on a few fun projects recently and take a lot of advice from this site. I'd be interested in what you all thought about some recent work? This stuff varies between a lot of modelling and little modelling and a lot of photoshop. thanks!
  9. Hi guys. I have a problem in that I cannot work out how to make the attached shape (see rough image!) in max! Any ideas? Thanks!
  10. Phwoar! Thanks a lot! A lot neater than what I was attempting (bullions, creating shapes, editing splines - nightmare). Thank you so much!
  11. Hi all, I have a question. I'm trying to create a helix that follows inside the shell of a sphere. This is to create a continuous ramp running from the bottom of the sphere to midway up. Any suggestions? The helix just creates a tapered cone, not a sphere - if you get me. Thanks!
  12. Re: Wikihouse, see here! http://www.wikihouse.cc/ Hello! Yes, you were a third year last year, right? Loved your work! Yes, the cannon brewery.
