  1. Well, basically, I am thinking to add art aspect in 3d visualization and research the way art sells the idea and tells the story that I can inspire to make the visualization work more alive. I found the image from Art in Latin America book and thought the picture may have some tips that can support my thinking. For example: what kind of features / characters tell the story and make the image more alive? Sorry if it still doesn't make sense.... thanks
  2. Please follow this link, http://www.bridgemanart.com/asset/105007/O'Gorman-Juan-1905-82/Mexico-City-1942-tempera-on-masonite thanks
  3. How do you guys think the attached art work from 3D visualizer point of view in terms of combining art and culture in visual style?
  4. Hi all, I am looking for some 3D visualization image samples that reflect on different culture as I thought it would engage to reflect the design context cos different cultures have different characteristics. Also, I thought it would help the work to stand out among the others. How do you think? Also, I am looking for a few sample rendered images that shows culture heritage in there. If you have got any good samples, please advice. thanks
  5. I mean, does 3D visualization support designers to get funded for their projects either by government or any association? It's just for research purpose.
  6. Hi all, will you say 3D visualization supports to get funded to designers? We know that 3D Vis is important to translate Architect's or designer's idea and in representing real world environment to clients. I will say that it also helps to designers to see their imagined idea in 3D which can support to develop the idea further. The question is, how can 3D Visualization support to get funded to designers? Thanks
  7. Hi I was trying to see the image but couldn't it. Any where to view the image? Thanks
  8. Could anyone help with my Questionnaire please? http://tonyandthura.co.uk/SurveyQuestions.php Thanks
  9. The link must have been expired, please visit to this one instead, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/live-video/bbc_one_2012_hd How do you think lighting and painting/colour used in the picture? I am not really good at expression but I think, it give me a warm evening feeling and I like the reflection effect on the water and the small bridge. Also the orange lighting/the sun source behind the big ben give the texture on the picture I think.
  10. Hi all, I have landed to London olympic website and noticed that image on video player and website background (at the bottom of the page) seem like a rendered image. I can see the beautiful sky, sun direction, reflection, really nice colour over all. This is the link to view, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/live-video/p00w2y7j I would like to know, is it a rendered (photorealistic) image? If so, Why is it used instead of real photopraph? many thanks
  11. I am recently doing a research for my education and trying to step into Arch Vis career. I would need some support for my questionnaire and give some advice from experienced Architects/Artists/Designers/Founders. I am focusing in becoming an Architectural Visualizer and photorealistic rendering in my research. Please follow the link to support my survey: http://tonyandthura.co.uk/SurveyQuestions.php Alternatively email can be sent to 'tzaw@uclan.ac.uk'. Thanks a lot for your support and time.
  12. Thanks for all the support guys. It helps a lot! We all know that there are benefits of Architectural Visualization like its ability to be used as a design tool. A succession of renderings can provide beautiful illustrations of not just colour options but intense material modifications like the differences in look and feel between wood and carpet. Also, it is an effective way to experience the style and feel of building before it has actually been built. I am sure there are some more that I can't think. What about the problems with Architectural Visualization??
  13. Hi All, I have been doing some research in Architectural Visualization for my research paper. I have heard that Photography Skill and understanding about camera angle are also important for an Architectural Visualizer. So, I am trying to do some theory research and tutorials from sources like books and online but I am struggling to find them. Could anyone please suggest me the best way to study to gain the above skills and any recommended books or journals? Many thanks Thura
  14. Hi Adrien, Thanks for the reply. So it sounds like Architecture skills is essential to be an Architectural visualizer, doesn't it? For me, I am doing Interior Design, not 'Architecture' course so do you think I will be able to get in this career if I only have a bit of Interior Design knowledge, 3D modelling and rendering skills?
