  2. Hello everybody, i've been looking for a while for a recent thread on cpu's speed related to vray and 3d max. Since i couldn't find a thread - this specific - and not so outdated i decided to make a new one, hoping in the help of this community where vray-max combo seems to be the standard for production. I've made the benchmark scene in vray 3.00.03, to try keep this post up-to-date with the current technology of this render engine, however tests with older versions are welcome. If we get a good number of cpu's compared i will post a list for quick reference. The scene is pretty basic, no plugin no textures. Just open the file and hit f9 Please post results in this form: time: 3dsmax version: Vray version: processor: CPU speed: ram: ram speed: embree: on/off Attached the zip file: Benchmark max 2011 Benchmark max 2012 Benchmark max 2013 Benchmark max 2014

  5. Hi everybody, i'm in need of aging a photo of an existing building, the building is a small private mountain house, i would need to make windows roof and walls look older and i was wondering if anyone could point out advices or tutorials that could help me in the process, i could even remodel the building in max and render parts in vray if necessary, as long as the final result looks realistic. Looking forward to hear your advices, thank you in advance
