  3. Thanks guys, Yes, you are right about the textures. Need to work on the wood.... The upholstery on the lounge chairs is ugly too, but I had small piece of scanned fabric and a phone call description of the colors... Clients! The same with the carpet. Attached is the initial shot of the lounge area..Which was considered too dark. For the lobby - I did not keep the initial renderings, It was too dark for the client. The ceilings are dark gray color which defuses most of the ambient light, so I had to add a few lights for the walls and the ceilings to make the colors more "welcoming". Unfortunately most of the times the realistic looking rendering is not the best one for the marketing point of view. Thank you for the comments.
  4. Two interiors I finished lately. Please comment.
  5. Excellent lighting ,atmosphere and most important the image creates a nostalgic mood. Bravo!
  6. Jason, Thanks for the comments. The image is rendered in C4D. I have noticed the low contrast with some of my other images too. Kinda soft and pale. Some experimenting with the light helped, but not much. Is it the HDRI that I am using? I did notice the repetition on some of the textures. Thanks for the advice.
  7. HI all, Here is something I am working over. Comments and critiques are more than welcome. Viktor
  8. Thanks for the comments, but the client ( orangemad ) is still not happy orangeno with the final result. I will keep you posted if things dramatically change. Thanks one more time.
  9. Latest update with some PS work Thanks in advance, Viktor
  10. Things changed a little from last week. The client wants a night shot of the building. This is my first try. Thanks Viktor
  11. Thanks, The building on the left starts to look very busy with the bump and the client decided to "pale" it a little.
  12. Thanks, I will check one more time the cars and the people, though I tried to line them with the perspective. The blue one is definitely flying. The one in the middle IMHO brings dynamics to the image. The sky is really stretched a little, but not rotated. I’ll change it in PS. Thanks again.
  13. Hi all, This is the last exterior, I've been working lately. Rendered C4D, modeled ArchiCAD. Please comment. Thanks in advance!
  14. This is a penthouse I've been working lately. Actually it is my second or third posting and I am interested to see if you find any development in my work. My first apartment after a long list of single family houses in Art*lantis and lately in Cinema4D. Modeled in ArchiCAD and rendered in C4D. 38 min. for image size 1200/900 with GI solution time included. Thank you in advance. Viktor
  15. Stephen, With lower DD I get to much splochiness all over the walls and ceilings. I modeled this in ArchiCAD. For the exterior walls I asigned simple material named WALL , exported to C4D through OBJ and deleted the objects with this material and thas reducing the number of poligons. But I noticed that some of the walls with the interior materials still extend a little out, were ArchiCAD did the clean wall intersection by default. I still use sky object and Sun for the exterior light with Luminance at 300% brightness for the sky and the Sun at 280%. I was getting highlighted spots in the corners as the light was penetrating through this walls that were sticking out. I save the solution because the client sometimes request some minor changes and this saves me time to recalculate. Do you think that I am loosing shadows because of the high DD? For the kitchen I put ambient light beneath each light fixture with fall off, but still the ceiling looked too dark and I had to add one ambient just for it.
