  1. Hello everyone, I'm pleased to announce that Bloom Unit is entering into an agreement with Evermotion to host many of their catalogues inside our plugin. This means that using our proxy technology you can place a simplistic, low poly representation of an evermotion model in your scene, which is linked to the full, high detail model in the cloud. When you start Bloom Unit rendering, you'll see the full detail Evermotion model in your scene. No other rendering plugin offers this level of interactive high quality rendering, while not bogging down your system with massive polygon counts. You can read more here; http://www.bloomunit.com/evermotion/ http://www.evermotion.org/tutorials/sho ... bloom-unit For up to date information keep an eye on our facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/BloomUnit We're excited about what we can do with Evermotion's amazing models, we hope you are too! Best, Danble
  2. Hello all, I've created a 3D warehouse collection of compatible Bloom Unit scenes. I'll be adding to it over the coming days, at the moment there are only three, but if you want to explore a scene with lighting and materials already applied you can try these. http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/cldetails?mid=886ddd8b1171375c549aea9f300237 Have fun!
  3. Mac Users! The Mac version of Bloom Unit is now online, and can be downloaded now at http://www.bloomunit.com I've also uploaded a new video introduction the concepts of Bloom Unit, as many dont seem to entirely understand what its about.
  4. Hello Mac Users, you can expect the Mac version of Bloom Unit to be released very soon! we're just finishing up and getting the official sign off from apple. Stay tuned!
  5. New article just posted from CG architect! Go have a read, http://www.cgarchitect.com/2012/10/bloom-unit-cloud-based-collaborative-rendering-for-sketchup We're glad to see more BU fans!
  6. Bloom Unit is now free to download and use. Bloom Unit is a cloud based, physically accurate renderer for Sketchup, now downloadable for free. Coming with one free hour you can trial and test with, users then purchase more hours at $6 an hour. Simply head over to http://www.bloomunit.com to download now, also don't forget to check http://www.youtube.com/bloomunit for more movies and interesting features! Note; We are aware of an issue when arraying our light objects where it creates two lights ontop of each other at the terminal point of the array. This is being fixed as we speak. Please post any questions you might have and I'll do my best to answer promptly. Enjoy!
  7. Hello all, New video is now live, hopefully it might answer some questions you have! Stay tuned for that switch over to free, still not quite live. http://www.youtube.com/user/bloomunit?f ... sults_main Hope its informative!
  8. New Announcement! Bloom Unit will be going free in a few days, simply download and use for one hour, then pay for more hours as required, at the same price of 6 dollars an hour. That hour is then used in 10 minute segments. Will announce again once this option is live on the website!
  9. I posted this one using Bloom Unit, which is a Sketchup Renderer advertised on this site http://www.cgarchitect.com/2012/09/bloom-unit-house
  10. It runs on the amazon servers in the US, so you have a Bloom Unit account that connects to those and runs your session on those servers, allowing you to use any computer you like as long as it has an internet connection (and can run sketchup!). We are offering options for offices to be able to either get iray directly or a local Bloom Unit that they run on a big server of their own and all their computers connect to it, hence negating the cloud price! If you like I can come by your offices in Melbourne and speak to you in person about it? Message me if you're interested.
  11. Hello! I'd like to introduce the worlds first real time, cloud based, physically accurate renderer. Its called Bloom Unit and its been developed by the company I work at in Melbourne, Australia. When i say it renders in real time, i mean seconds, not hours to render. The lighting is also entirely physically accurate. For more information please check http://www.bloomunit.com or http://www.youtube.com/bloomunit (the most informative content is at the youtube channel) I've also attached a series of renders from Bloom Unit. Best! Daniel
