  2. Hi James, Thanks for responding. I am still stuck, I renders a single frame with settings as attached. When I open that single EXR file in nuke, it showing no crypto, as you can see that element along with other elements were added. Can you please check what mistake I am doing. It would be a great help Thanks
  3. Hello Everyone, Looking for an answer from a PRO USER of 3Ds Max 2021 and Vray (6.10.08) I have this scene with 5 cameras, want to render animations. Setting primary engine to Brute force and 2nd engine to Light cache. Pre-calculated LC for each moving camera. Now I want to do batch rendering with their respective LC selected, and output required in EXR 32-bit so I could comp it easily in NUKE using cryptomatte. If I do the rendering in Targa, else I will have to render wire, Zdpeth, AO passes separately for each camera, this was an old method of doing it, which takes ages to get final output. Please suggest how to do it, is it even possible to do it in 3ds max ? Thanks
  4. Hi, everyone I need an urgent help. I have just started using Vray 5.2 in 3ds Max. I want to render a walkthrough with many moving objects for an exterior scene. I have many render elements to have more control(image attached) When I render in Vray buffer frame, I have the option to "save all image channels in single file" as EXR 32 bit. but after pre-calculating Irradiance map and light cache, when I give path to save all the frames as EXR with 32 bit information(image attached), it does not give me any information of Vraycryptomatte when I OPEN EXR in NUKE. I want to compose the final rendering in NUKE, thats the reason I need single EXR with its all render elements in it. But When I open the same single EXR saved from Vray BF, it always gives me all the information including cryptomatte. I have come back to vray after about 2 years. I was working with some other tools in between. I have attached all the required information. NOTE: I started using it after couple of years. To render an animation, we used to first precalculate light cache for single frames, then irradiance map with selecting Nth frames like every 5th or 10th frame with light cache(from file which was already calculated from single frames), let me know if it is still the best way to render a flickering free animations. I shall appreciate a lot if someone Pro could explain me in detail where I am making a mistake and how can I fix it to have great results. I need to get work done for some clients. The deadline is close. Thanks a lot
  5. Urgent Help needed I have panoramic photos from the clients, client used the drone. I have ready master plan. Now I need to match the camera in it with whole masterplan to be fit in the same panoramic photo. Client wants to show the land as Before and After. Is there any tutorial anyone can recommend please ? I tried to find relevant tutorial but it shows other videos not particularly the one I am looking for.
  6. Hi folks Hope everyone is in good health. I am anxiously looking for find best solution to model huge roads networks in masterplans. We have autocad files. But it is not easy trace each and every road and model them in max then do work on their Uvs to have best textures with road marking etc. Is there any other software which we can learn to create huge roads networks with correct textures and mapping in a quick way along with paves etc, if we only have CAD files ? I would appreciate your kind response Thanks in advance
  7. Hi everyone I have hundred instance copies of houses in a master plan. I mistakenly attached an object(lets say A object) to a house and later ended up making hundred instance copies and placed them at a master plan. I was supposed to group the object A with a house and then make instances. Is it possible to detach that object A from the house and make rest of all instance copies of houses to have that object A detached ? I want to keep that object A with each one of the house in master plan. I hope I elaborated much for you guys to understand. its a big problem. I can not just delete the whole master plan and again group object A to a house and put that house on the whole master plan. NOTE: I can not make unique all hundred of house and attach them and then select by material ID that object and detach, My system will get crashed. house meshes are too heavy.   9. Hi folks I am looking for a best solution to add huge traffic(May be 8000 vehicles) in a big masterplan. My primary software is 3ds max 2020(Vray Next), what plugin or any other thing I can use to animate this huge traffic ? and If I want to animated trees in the scene as well. I need to prepare a flythrough camera of 20 second to show the whole masterplan having canal running through and lots of roads across. Please suggest best solution for these 2 things (Animated trees and vehicles) Best regards
  10. Hi I am wondering if I want to use the feature "distributed rendering" in vray next with 3ds max 2019. Do i need to install max with vray on every system on network ? or this feature would only use RAM of those systems on network ? If yes I need to install, is it possible to render on my system but using only ram of other systems ? I am asking this silly question because its a long process of installing max with vray on all other system Thanks
  11. Thank you for the help. You are right what you told the different ways to do it. I tried to download backburner from autodesk portal. Though I am using not the pirated software, i purchased it. Eventhen they ask for different subcription to download it, also the website is totaly broken. I came to a solution to save separate file with their respective IR and LC saved(as you told) it went fine. and yes I have 1 system. Thanks again
  12. Hi folks Need help I have 4 cameras in the single scene, all are like walkthrough. no moving object. I have precalculated irradiance maps and light cache for all 4 cameras separately. I want to render elements VrayWireColor and VrayZdepth as well for each frame and each camera though. Yes I can render 4 cameras using BATCH RENDER at the same time. If in case it is not possible to render with vrayelements even then i am wondering how will I use recalculated irradiance maps and light cache for each camera using batch render. I find no option to link these irradiance map and light cache with their respective cameras. I know Light cache and irrandiance map calculated with 1 camera can not be used from different camera. It has to calculate for each and every camera. Sorry for little long explanation. Looking for a help from a pro. Software 3ds max 2019 Vray Next 4.20 Thanks

  14. Yes you are right at every point. I tried nothing but massfx, chocolate boxes fall perfect in to closed glass, but when i try to fall the same boxes on a curve tray, they dont fall on the tray rather but fall of the floor(0,0,0). I wastched many tutorials and followed exactly that. But could not get fair result. There is another issue, when boxes fall in closed glass or tray, they collide with eachother and penetrate in to each other
