  1. I had the same issue few days ago, after 2 days trying everything I could thought of, a simple repair of Backburner sorted it. Looking forward to move to Deadline
  2. Xoio's one works pretty good (as everything they do.. ) http://xoio-air.de/2011/gravel-map-pack-2/ RDT displacement maps are also a good reference
  3. Have you checked you don't have double faces?
  4. I haven't used it for ages but, wouldn't batch render do the job?
  5. Hi, Just moved to 3.5 and I'm struggling to control the glare and bloom. I read the manual but found no answer to all my questions... Is it still possible to get the bloom and glare mask render element? I have the same parameters as in 3.4 but they are not showing up. Do they still work in vray light materials? I assume they are suppose to work as in real photography but is not working in pure white pixels when they are vray light mats A college of mine realized by trial and error that the bloom and glare are quite different in Bucket and progressive, is it suppose to be like that or just a bug? Do the adaptive lights affect them? Just rendered an image with around 50 similar lights and the glare is just working in a few of them quite randomly (sorry can't post the image but is a confidential project). Any other differences with 3.4?
  6. which are your camera settings? if you have a high f number it should work. Try playing with the weight and size values (they seem a bit too high to me)
  7. Which settings are u using? I also had issues with it and a "render from camera" type and a not too low f number (5.6 or above) sorted it.
  8. looks like it may be related to your glass or whatever you have applied in the panels as its just happening there, trees are not getting that weird noise.I'd try overriding a standart vray mat to the whole scene and see if it still happens
  9. Eternal gratitude for this!! I've been feeling dizzy because of those camera fades for months
  10. Sounds like it could be a Vray installation issue, have you rendered other scenes in your Pc?
  11. Basically just practice and train yourself and after some years you'll get there, schools can help but practice is the most important. This academy is the most famous one, although I haven't attend myself some of my colleagues did and really recommend it : http://www.stateofartacademy.com/ or if you prefer video tutorials these are the best I've ever done by far: http://masteringcgi.com.au/ good luck!
  12. I have a Lenovo Idea Y500 and after 3 years is working pretty decently for light Max and Photoshop work during travels, the only but is the trackpad which is almost unusable since the very beginning. If you are going for a Lenovo and are planning to use it without mouse I hardly recommend you to go to a shop and try the trackpad, I hope they have improve it since I bought mine.
  13. Are you using auto vertical tilt in a physical camera?...sometimes it gets funny when rendering animations and does things like what you are showing, it looks like its applying a value to one Pc and a different one to the other. What I do to fix it is to set just the value that suits you better and keep it over the whole shot (unticking the auto)
  14. This website is quite good to check compatibility and prices: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ and this one for cpu comparison: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html
