Well that depends on the kind of work you do and the typical scene you work on.

If your typical scene is 10mil polys or less, then you wasted your money and a GTX 980 would have been just fine.

 

But take those 10mil polys and copy it a few times to make 100mil polys or 200mil polys, then that is a totally different story

Did anyone try Quadro k5200 with 3ds max 2015 or 2014 viewport :( ?

because i bought it and i don't feel i get the full performance for the GPU ?

what i think its the driver , and i don't know whats the best driver for it :confused: ??

 

You will not feel a boost. Even at 100M poly. You wasted your money like me.

The only boost I ever felt was getting a GTX 580 after my Quadro 4000, which performed more or less like my old GeForce 8800GT.
