Holy Spam, Batman

Are these link-bombs effective? Are they generating actual money for anyone at all? When you are reading a forum about some specific topic that interests you, why would you be tempted to stop everything to follow a SPAM link about bone-powder or car scratch remover, and buy buy buy?

That this keeps happening here and everywhere suggests it is effective.

They could at least title the link, "Would you like a bigger, thicker, more meaty rendering?"

The spammers may be paid out by each number of post, thus the flood of them from the spam robots. For a long time this forum was pretty clear, but in the past week or so things have gotten past the filters/moderators.
